The world you know before you can change in the blink of an eye, it can be erased in mere seconds. When darkness falls on you, and the weight of your world seems to come crashing down on you what will you do? Falter, give up, let go....or survive, hold out for the light to shine down, and accept another chance, for it may never come....this is what Chu did.
As the saying goes-"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." Chu's city was no exemption to this, and needless to say things didn't go so well. Luckily war didn't infact break out, though there were riots, one which would alter Chu's future, and shatter his world. Down the street, other creatures were protesting for more rights, seeing as the government at that time was trying to build a more 'restricted' society, and this meant lock the doors, bar the windows, and hide. The plan seemed to be going so well for Chu and his family as they stuffed themselves into a rather large closet and waited. Things seemed to be normal, considering there was a riot, until Pika, Chu's sister, noticed a faint burning smell. Soon the smell grew, and they all began to notice it, the house was on fire! Quickly, the family of pikachu's scurried out of the closet, and looked for an exit, unfortunately the fire seemed to already spread a good deal throughout the house, and all exits were blocked. A small vent, only big enough for the children to fit in, seemed to be the only hope, and with the love of a parent, Chu and Pika were sent through it.
"I love you, please watch after Pika and keep her safe..." Those were the last words spoken to Chu by his mother and father. Not having time for many words or goodbyes, if that was infact goodbye, Chu and Pika hurried through the vent, and eventually made their way out of the house. However, Pika and Chu couldn't keep together with all the mobs, the commotion of the police, and sadly, they got separated.
12 years have passed since then, and in those 12 years, Chu has never given up, never lost all hope, and is still on a continuous search for his sister Pika. Perhaps, as there is the speck of light in darkness, there is a chance that Chu shall find his sister one day, and maybe even his parents....

Physical description-
Aside from the obvious facts that he is a furred anthro pikachu, this boy does have distinguishing outter characteristics. His body is outlined in a shimmering golden fur, silky to the touch, and often kept clean. His paws and feet are as one might come to notice black, along with the tip of his ears. He has some reddish brown fur along the tip of his tail, and near the tip of his tail, as well as near his wrist and ankles. His hair is always kept short, and his powerful legs are mostly clothed with black shorts. At times he can also be seen with a white top covering his tonned abs, though aside from that, he'll wear other casual clothes.
Personality-
Despise the fact that he lost his parents and maybe even his sister, he's an optomistic and rather playful pikachu. He looks to the future and new friends, along with the belief that he will eventually reunite with his long lost sister. He can be kind and caring, though does have a bit of bad boy inside of him.
