Build and appearance: He has some semblance of a muscular physique from his old special forces day with a slight pudgy gut due to slacking off in his recent years, but is still incredibly strong despite his unassuming look. On top of this, he has a elaborate series of oddly colored blue fur and skin that could remind someone of tattoos of sorts that happen to glow, sometimes from emotional status or his powers.

Attires: He is seen around in three attires: a typical (or stereotypical) lumberjack attire (White text); a grey fedora cocked at a slight angle, a grey tuxedo vest and white shirt, formal brown slim fit trouser and light brown derby shoes (red); and a tuxedo (blue).

Possessions: Is known to carry around a Smith & Wesson revolver, a Nosler M48 Patriot rifle, a hunting knife, and canteen of special water.

Locations: Restaurant establishments of Nexus, namely Svarog's Kitchen, Nexus lake and Nexus' estate.

Official occupations: He often works in the summer as a local lumberjack worker while not working as Union assistant manager to Ra. He also takes up the hobby of a occasional swimmer in the local lake and gyms.

True occupations: His true job as one of the top commanders of the Zan Syndicate. Working closely to Ra, and assisting him in many of the illegal operation conducting and finishing off rivals that Ra finds he is too busy to finish those rivals off.

Background:

Charles was created as a part of a series of clones troopers programmed to the highest quality, whose genetic material was that of the top deceased soldiers of the Federation or most vicious criminals.

The cloning project's goal was to make a batches of subjects to make obedient commanders/commissars known as Lazarus Handlers. Their purpose were to keep their troops in-charge of through force or persuasion while also being submissive and all too obedient to their own superiors, by all means such as upbringing, genetic and cybernetic programming, and disciplining methods as examples.

Charles was like many of these clones at first, rebellious and violent to all, until his creators and the Founders reinforced their hold on him and other clones. Often mentally breaking them down through harsh moral teachings, punishments, and isolation, and after then rebuilding them up again.

After this preparation, Charles and the clones were ready for the magical experimentations and modifications so that would his series of Lazarus Handlers and other series of soldiers.

With his modifications and training fulfilled, Charles was quickly shipped out along with many fellow handlers and their soldiers to the battlegrounds of the Federation's many campaigns. His methods of keeping soldiers in-line were often harsh and cruel, becoming quickly hated and feared among the soldiers and even a few handlers.

His regiment were special forces that were focused on underwater and coastal warfare. Their ruthless successes, and feared capacity for cruelty and willingness to commit many atrocities, at their important roles in several had earn them a grand reputation among many who know the Lazarus Project and dread at those who witness their subjects in combat.

That said, Charles was not without fearing and respecting those that he would normally considered inferior to him. Such two figures were Teldra and Ra (or Phoenix as he was known then). The former would always be a begrudgingly respected foe who he has an active vendetta, and the latter a close friend who use to be a former enemy and rival that would have strong influence on the mink.

His rivalry with Ra started when they encountered one another, the latter always acting with insubordination to him. The two trading insults until it finally came ahead between the two when they fought one another, and Charles lost. His training and Ra's personality and ambition made him see him as a superior to him that proved his might over him. And thus, started to form a close bond that he wished was more master and slave than equals.

With Teldra, it is much different as they kept a insult and bullying relationship up until the Lazarus Wars. The start of their rivalry started over Teldra striking back at Charles' attempt to discipline him and his fellow troops.

When the Lazarus Wars came, Charles took the side of Ra and the Zan Syndicate. The close bonds of the two and the mink's submission to him, swayed Charles over to them. Betraying his former masters as he become the most loyal and fanatical subordinate and follower of Ra.

During an engagement at the Lazarus Project Headquarters where the Zan Syndicate tried to steal technology and research from their creators, Charles encountered new foes which were Ra's former friends and tried to counter their efforts to earn Ra's favor.

Unfortunately for him, his personal pursuit of them was halted when he took the opportunity for conflict with Teldra to end his old rival. It ended in a humiliating defeat for the mink at the hands of the nevrean, who left him to die slowly and painfully. The former handler taking this to heart and wishing to end Teldra permanent, as he was unable to withstand the idea of being overcome by a creature such as Teldra.

After recovering from his injuries, Charles help the Zan Syndicate expend its influences and allowed him and Ra to rise to power. The two reaching the very top, being among the high council for their work in both legal and illegal businesses the Syndicate conduct. The former handler though does still personally keep Ra' thugs and crooks in-line, as well as personally handling anyone who interferes in the Syndicate's or Ra's businesses that the Phoenix or other enforcers can't handle themselves.

Aside from this, he keeps a rather subtle public disguises as an occasional swimmer at Nexus swimming clubs and lake, a freelance lumberjack, and assistant manager of the Union that Ra is in-charge of. Still looking for any Lazarus Soldiers or handlers that happen upon Nexus to recruit... or destroy.

Personality:

Charles is more emotive than his employer and close friend Ra. He is often showing a more wilder, expressive, and volatile in all actions and emotions when doing his illegal work, and often to Ra's eye rolling stoic amusement.

In public, he appears as a often stoic individual in the presence of his boss and fellow co-workers. While on occasions he does show his energetic and emotive side to strangers when neither his boss or co-workers are around in public, he is still very restrained in it.

Unlike his boss, who does have a great capacity for violence and a cruel sense of it, Charles has a trained expertise in it. And he is often sent for by Ra to commit even acts of violence that he feels are too harsh or low for him, and often proving him right. He is very submissive to those much stronger in appearance to him and prove it, but quite begrudgingly so when they don't have an appearance to match their power or dominance. For those who neither don't live up to be dominant in both or either appearance and demeanor, he will be very dominant individual.

The mink is also known to get quite mad when someone comments on his slight gut that he learned worked well in survival situations from special forces training. And insulting his species by insisting that they are less capable than others at his particular line of work.

Abilities:

Charles' magic is themed around the use and control water. This can range from making the water that he swims in easier to swim in or control people through the water in their body.

Much like many powerful magic and powers, it is quite draining to use them and thus, he requires careful uses of them in short controlled bursts to make them very effective. To regain his energy for his powers, he must drink from a flash filled with water from the special pool that he resurrects from, or by devouring foes and absorbing/digesting them.

The mink was an expert swimmer from years of military training and continued training. but his skills may have wane over the years but is still very dangerous to encounter in the water. Even without his powers over water at his disposal.

He is also very strong, with a strong bite that can crack a skull or arms and legs that can snap ribs from kicks and punches. All due to his limbs being reinforced by cybernetics and years of training.

While not as experienced as many Lazarus soldiers or handlers, the former Lazarus handler is still a dangerous skilled hunter with both a trained and experienced talent at firearms and CQC with knives. With a talent for tracking and trapping on top of it, making escaping him a hard task to do.

Ra_Florian: A great enemy and rival since their first engagement on a planet filled to the brim with small isolated islands, Ra and Charles at first give each other small wide berths. Until their conflicting roles, goals and personalities brought them to blows in a bar on a ship as the former grew tired at the latter constant harassment of his illegal operation and latter to the former's resistance to his commands. The fight was Charles first defeat in personal combat, as well as his failure to subdue a subordinate. This would become the catalyst to Ra and Charles' long partnership and friendship, one which Charles still wished was more master and slave with himself as the slave in this case.
