An ordinary, stumpy toad, envious of the adventures of Captain Toad and the wealth he discovered, one day left the Mushroom Kingdom in search of riches of his own... unluckily for him, he got lost in Nexus and now he doesn't know the way back! Toad doesn't let it get to him, though... he'll keep searching for riches, and soon enough he'll build his own New Mushroom Kingdom! Of course, what he doesn't know yet is that the foes around here do something more sinister than make him shrink a few sizes...

On top of coin and treasure hoards, this particular Toad is also quite fond of the kinds of powerups that transmutate into other species. The cat form from the Super Bell and the flying squirrel form from the Super Acorn are definently his favourites, but he's known to partake in Penguin Suits, Bee Mushrooms, Super Leaves (raccoon) and Frog Suits whenever it fits his mood and needs.
