Babbakesh, the legendary city where magic weapons and items are crafted, is located in the middle of desert. The desert is unmerciful, since it's populated by raiders and monsters.
Each month, a caravan travels to the city, and anyone could join it for a fee. The caravan needs some mercenaries for protection, so it's also possible to enroll as soldier.
The city
Visitors can buy magic weapons, or talisman and potions that will make them stronger. Also, they can find many opportunities to get rich quickly, since there are several missions available for adventurers: rauders, bandits and monsters are very common, in the desert, and bounties are promptly paid. Anyone who wants to become a hero could find a good chance to prove they are worth, in Babbakesch.

Aaron_Thunderhart bought a magic sword, and a flying carpet. He also helped a lamia named Hannah.
Wolfheart explored the surroundings, and discovered something near an oasis.
Miasma_and_Bandit found a slime named Aqua Miria in an oasis. Also, they got a flying carpet as a reward.
Drizzit discovered a tribe of lamia warriors, that named themselves The Sand Snakes. A group of them joined him, forming The_Lamia_Squad
Some months later, he encountered a mysterious lonely rabbit fallen warrior.
Amateur_Heroine found, in an oasis, a goo-like creature that is able to take control of its victim and devour them from inside, if ingested.
Pied_Piper dealt with a rat infestation, managing to find and defeat the Rat King, a creature made of several rats with tails tangled together
An_Assassin reached the city, after a risky travel, and managed to get a magic needle, and an outfit to simulate pregnancy
Later, she got in troubles with an archmage named Laertes, earning a curse that will affect her each time she lies
In the end, she settled with a wizard named Iviar
