Personality

JayCee is very easy going and friendly. They enjoy helping people when they can, but ussually they are oblivious to any indirect requests. If you manage to get their attention though, good luck getting rid of them!

The two driving motives in JayCee's life are snacks and warmth. Preferably both of these are being acquired simultaneously. They can frequently be found snacking on fresh baked goods completely lost in their bliss. They will eat pretty much ANYTHING warm, but have a heavy preference for sweets. They aren't very good with personal space, as they tend to want to snuggle against warm bodies.

Their oblivious and relaxed nature combined with their ravenous appetite leads to a lot of accidents. If you don't want that to happen, avoid getting too close to their food

The basics

Despite their humanlike appearance, make no mistake, JayCee is a pokemon. They possess the qualities and abilities of a regular Arctozolt, along with the complications.

While maybe not immediately apparent their body is a combination of two different creatures. Both of which aren't particularlly compatable with eachother. Their top half is more predatory and used to swallowing large food items whole. Which normally would be fine if they had the appropriate stomach, but their bottom half is from a creature much different. Typically it would store preserved food for long periods of time, digesting it slowly. So, over active prey is quite troublesome.

Along with dietary complications, their lower half also poses another issue. It is from a creature accustomed to cold environments, and it actually has a very low core temperature itself. This conflicts with JayCee's top half which is used to living in more temperate climates. The opposition causes their top half to constantly be shivering, they also often have a runny nose. Their solution is to seek lots of warm food to try and raise their core temperature. They are quite gluttonous and will sometimes enter a "feeding frenzy" like state. If this happens anything warm near their food maybe at risk. Their other method ussually ends up getting themselves eaten. In their search for warm places to rest, they often find themselves invading peoples personal space.

Backstory

In the region of Galar, there was once a curious researcher named Cara Liss. Cara's appetite for scientific discovery was ravenous. In her pursuit to satisfy her cravings, Cara would preform all kinds of morally questionable experiments. Eventually, word of her archaeological exploits made their way to Sinnoh, where the champion MistressCynthia would take interest.

Upon Cynthia's arrival to Galar, she quickly learned of Cara's experiments with the fossils of Galar. After doing some of her own more thorough research, Cynthia figured out Cara had been taking shortcuts in order to claim the discovery of new fossil pokemon. After witnessing a first hand demonstration of Cara's half baked science expirement and the creation of Arctozolt_JayCee, Cynthia knew that Cara would have to be dealt with.

Cynthia quickly dealt with the scared and confused Arctozolt, capturing them in order to ensure their saftey. The next issue she would handle would be Cara Liss. She apprehended the researcher with the intent to bring her to the Galarian authorities. However, once learning of the dietary complications JayCee would have to endure thanks to their new body, Cynthia decided Cara would be better served as milk for the poor pokemon.

Now JayCee is a happy member of Cynthia's team. She is helping them grow strong and get used to their new body, with the intention of allowing JayCee to set off on their own one day.

I only have a few hard no's for my preferences, and I try to make sure I account for them all. If you'd like to RP with one it will almost certainly be a no from me, but I am ok with you asking and shooting your shot. If I don't have a slider in the preferences section for something, I am probably perfectly fine with it feel free to suprise me with anything, just avoid the hard no's if you'd please.
I have a preference for RP'ing as non verbal. Think like the actual personality of a pokemon. Sentient fully capable of complex human thought, just only really able to make pokemon noises.
