Maruac's very own gorgeous foreign exchange student, Anelie's strong will and stunning beauty have made her an Academy idol even despite her promiscuity. So eager is she to "exchange culture" with foreign boys, it can feel like the hardest part of asking her out is scheduling around everyone else. The real challenge is keeping her: she'll rarely call again.

With Anelie no more consistent in clubs than in courtship, the swim team had low expectations for her when she first arrived at the pool. Most saw her as an unwelcome distraction, glowering as she flirted with the boys who suddenly appeared to "support the team." But she proved quick and graceful in the water, and while she generally rebuffs her poolside admirers, she's often more than willing to connect them with her teammates. Several boys have come to ogle at the blonde in her swimsuit and gone home with a different swimmer entirely.

Her matchmaking helped to win some early points with the team, and she's made inroads by offering the swimmers relationship advice. But though their initial iciness has melted away, Anelie is enough of an empath to know their genuine friendship continues to evade her. The close-knit members continue to keep the popular outsider at arms length, unimpressed by her bubbly personality or knockout looks; they seem almost mistrustful.

Anelie could walk away, but the swim team has done what seemingly no boy can do and kept her coming: she needs to be loved to leave. It's a challenge she relishes, though their continued rejection stings more every day. She won't move on until she's earned their adoration.

Until then...her admirers certainly don't mind the chance to see her in a swimsuit.
