Scholar/Scout (1st Age Stage)

Age: 1-50 years

General Personality: Curious and playful, constantly learning about the universe they live in.

Physical Description

Their hair is short and wispy, barely discernible from the soft and light fur covering most of their bodies. Two oval shaped ears twitch and swivel to take in every sound no matter how loud or quiet it is. All Aetherians have a short yet narrow muzzle with a skull very similar to a mouses, their slanted almond shaped eyes are a solid blue with white pupils that dart around curiously. Taking in everything they can see in and eager to see more. Their light pink nose placed on the tip of their muzzle most likely for tracking purposes. Their neck is short and thick, completely proportional with the rest of their body. The Aetherian's shoulders are somewhat gender fluid, having a smooth and feminine structure while maintaining a faint masculine muscle structure. Their arms are too thin to be considered heavily muscled yet too thick to be considered spindly. Having the perfect balance between the two, their elbows show an innate flexibility suggesting that they can walk on four limbs or two. About halfway down their forearms their fur stops, pale skin now visible the rest of they way down the limbs to their hands. Their wrists show the same innate flexibility as their elbows, reinforcing the possibility that they can walk on four legs. Their hands are somewhat small, yet no doubt firm and strong. Aetherians only have three fingers and a thumb, the digits seeming stout and thick when compared to the size of their hand. Their chest is smooth and somewhat fluffy, a tuft of fur making it hard to discern whether or not the young Aetherian has breasts or not. Their back is thin and smooth, the fur there neatly groomed and clean. Their midsection is somewhat paunchy but not very noticeably, making it clear that they eat well and healthily. Aetherians have a surprisingly cute and plush rump, the soft white mounds easily parted to reveal their light blue anus. The small ring of flesh gently clenching and flexing. Between their thighs is a genital slit, the small line of light blue folds making it hard to determine whether they're male, female, herm or anything in between. The thighs of the Aetherian are firm and supple, having the perfect amount of flesh on them to be noticeable and most likely delicious. Their calves curve backwards at an upward angle, the soft and tender flesh giving the Aetherian's leg a feral hind-leg appearance. Their feet are long and widen out as they get to the toes, the only part of their feet that touches the ground being the front half as the rest of the foot is slightly raised for quick and agile movements. Their scaled tail measures in at a range of 1/4 of a foot to one foot in length. The scales look firm and shiny, no doubt able to withstand and deal out some blunt impact force.

Guardian/Soldier (2nd Aage Stage)

Age: 50-100 years

Average Weight: 120-130 lbs

Average Height: 3-4 feet

General Personality: Stoic and prideful, determined to achieve their goals.

Physical Description

At the second stage of aging the genders of Aetherians become slightly more defined. Their hair grows and thickens into the beginnings of a mane that looks like a flickering candle flame, gently swaying through the wind and trailing behind them as they move. Their ears still long and oval shaped to allow swiveling to listen from any direction. Male Aetherians gain more of a wolfish muzzle structure while females take on a more vulpine appearance, herms and any genders between male and female have a mix of both a wolf and fox muzzle. All the while still having those same solid blue eyes that are now darting about for signs of danger. Their neck has grown a bit longer but not by much, maintaining an average appearance. Their shoulders are now much firmer, well toned and muscled for strength. Their arms have stayed relatively the same in the sense of size but the muscles hidden beneath their fur and skin have become much more defined. Their fur now covers two thirds of their forearms, spine-like tufts of fur sticking out just after the elbow. Their hands hold a lithe and toned appearance, now at what could be considered medium size. Their fingers have grown much longer while thinning out a little, keeping a balanced proportion to their hands. On their chest the tuft of fur remains firmly placed there, but Aetherians with breasts will have some noticeable B-cup mounds peeking out from either side or inside the tuft of fur. Those without breasts will have a firm and well toned chest hidden behind the tuft of soft fur. Their backs are not as thin as they once were, now sporting a lithe and firm muscle structure. Their belly is now a little more flat and firm, showing that their paunch they gained as a Scholar/Scout has been worked away upon taking up their more physically active duty, age ranking and social status. Their rumps have improved from plush to marshmallow, the soft mounds now more defined and prominent as they more effectively hide their anus. A genital slit still resides between their legs as they age, the only notable difference is that the folds are somewhat more loose and easy to part as they have seen some use by this point in their life. Their thighs have grown firmer and supple, no doubt full of delectable muscle tissue. Their calves still curve backwards in a feral hind leg fashion while being more lithe and well toned. They're now more firm and sure-footed, still maintaining their toe tip stance while being more confident in their movements. Their tail grows longer with them, now measuring at length range of 2-3 feet. The base of the tail is now much thicker than the tip while the tail tip has started to grow a bone covering to act as a naturally fashioned club.

Elder/General (3rd Age Stage)

Age: 100-??? Years

Average Weight: 150-175 lbs

Average Height: 4-5 feet

General Personality: Calm and patient, guiding their people through peace and war.

Physical Description

Now in the final stage of their life, the body structure of Aetherians seem more loose and relaxed. Their bodies lithe and strong despite old age. A thick mane of luminescent silvery white fur travels from the top of their heads down their spines to the base of their tails, the mane waving about in the air like a flickering flame. Their skulls have notably shifted to a more reptilian shape, males holding similarities to turtles and tortoises if they had soft luminescent fur while females have a more furred serpentine look. The same solid blue eyes persist, but they seem to faded and softer. Giving them a kind and peaceful gaze. Their ears are still long and oval shaped, sometimes bearing a scar from some long forgotten fight. Their necks are lithe and mildly wrinkled, shoulders toned and clearly muscled beneath the fur. The muscles of their arms have become much more defined at the sacrifice of seeming thin and spindly, but a closer look shows the strength inside those lithe limbs. The "elbow spike" of fur has now become a hardened bristle with the durability of iron, fur stopping halfway down their forearms as their glowing skin is revealed for a brief moment till scales take over. Their hands are covered in luminescent white scales, glowing softly in the dark with scaled fingers tipped with sharp claws. Their chests once again vary depending on the gender of the Aetherian, Males having a tuft of fur thar goes up to their shoulders and firm pectoral muscles that can be faintly seen underneath the luminescent pelt. Females sporting the same structure only with a large pair of B-cup breasts. Their backs are taut and lithe, the "spine" of flame-like fur flickering and waving as the wind blows through it. Their bellies are covered in a thinner layer of fur than the rest of their furry bodies, faintly exposing pale skin that looks elastic enough to stretch with ease. Their rear ends remain surprisingly unchanged, the only real differences being how soft and plump the the heart shaped buns have gotten. The genital slit the Aetherians have had for their entire lives... Is still there, antagonizingly hiding the sexual organs they may or may not have within a ever so slightly parted pair of "folds". Their thighs are smooth and supple, covered in silky smooth that shows off their lithe yet plump form. calves maintain their feral hind-leg look, allowing them to walk on two limbs or four as they please. Their feet are a foot and a half long and have a medium width, looking much like rabbit's feet if they were a little longer. Their tails are now covered in hardened bone scales That have the durability of steel, the three foot appendages still maintaining their prehensile nature as they slowly sway and curl behind their owners.

History

Scientific History/Backstory

In the deep reaches of space is a floral planet called Aetherion, home to a race of telekinetic beings known as Aetherians. Aetherians are a generally peaceful race that seek to preserve the tranquility of their home planet while exploring the vastness of space to learn everything this world has to offer. When in at war with another civilization they send out Scouts to observe the enemy in secret to learn of their weaknesses, deploying Soldiers to fight on the frontlines under the guidance of one or more Generals. When in a peaceful state their Scholars travel the stars as ambassadors of their people, Guardians protecting Aetherion and some following the Scholars to protect them. When another civilization is trusted enough an Elder will pay them a visit to confirm an alliance between the two civilizations.

Magical History/Backstory

Deep within ancient forests in areas long forgotten and untouched by civilization resides a few rare pale blue trees with luminescent white leaves known as the Aetherion Trees, or Trees of Light. Legend has it that the glowing blue fruit of these trees can heal any wound amd cure any disease, purifying those who eat from it as it is an essence of light. If you brew the leaves into a tea and drink it the legend says that you will become young again, the leaves of an Aetherion tree being one of the supposed ingredients to immortality... But what the legends do not go over is the protector's of the trees and the forest around them. Born from the naturally fallen leaves of the Aetherion tree, the aptly named Aetherians are curious and playful forest spirits with an affinity to light and holy magic.

Atherion Gender Characteristics

Males, shemales and cuntboys grow up and develop far more "armored plates", while the females and herms only seem to have plates where makes them look more attractive.

The first three have smaller head manes while females and herms have larger and more flowing.

Herms usually have larger assets than all others while the others seem to be "smaller".

Herms also tend to be equal sorts more fertile than the rest, which makes them great candidates of charismatic leaders, because they attract such attention while gathering the most mates.

In rare cases, these characteristics can fail to differentiate genders due to a sixth "gender", traps, which are really just Aetherions that failed to develop gender traits properly.

Males tend to be the most muscular, of course, but that can change based on them.

The head mane can be combed down to merely look like a full head of hair and can be cut, but it grows back slightly faster than normal "hair" and after that, it can get much longer than it was before with repeated cuts.

Mating/Reproduction

While the Aetherians are born from the Aetherion Tree; they have always had other ways to reproduce beyond being produced from falling leaves, they can reproduce like mammals.

A human, anthro or demi mating one of them works. Especially well, actually. But the hybrid that results from this has been noticed to look a lot more like the mother's race than the father's. They always lack head manes however. Instead, they have mere fur, hair or grow up with no hair, depending on what the mate was.

More Details on Aetherion Tree

The Tree isn't originally from the mortal plane, but originating from the spirit realm where ghosts and demons reside. When in the spirit realm, the Aetherions appear in the physical realm as will'o'wisps. Those with an affinity to magic or some magical item that grants them sight would be able to see the true identity of an Aetherion if the said Aetherion was standing still.

There is more than one Aetherion Tree; as it originates from the spirit realm, how the ancient legends of the Aetherion Trees were first started is because in a few places in the mortal realm far away from civilization these rare trees can be found in the mortal realm with the Aetherions protecting the trees from the greed and desire of mortal folk have for immortality.
