Silence isn't incredibly complicated. He is a being that has control over the properties of sound. How? No one's really been able to get close enough to find out. Some say he's an android. Others say he's a sorcerer. Some even think of him as some form of deity. To be honest, he's just a mutant, and he knows it. However, Silence rarely speaks of it... In fact, being mute and illiterate, he doesn't really speak through words at all. Symbols are his guide to the world, and he relies on them as he wanders through the world, trying to go about his business without being bothered. Anyone he's come across that has tried to bother him for most purposes has, for one reason or another, met a cruel end. Enemies were killed, their screams unable to escape their throats. Allies typically were killed by Silence's enemies.
Silence has lived on the streets for a good portion of his eighteen-year-old life, and has often relied on begging (via a simple, open hand) or stealing from food vendors. He doesn't really take anything more than he needs, and will even deny donations from the overly charitable. He seems content with the bare essentials and nothing more.
During some point in Silence's adolescence, he was attacked (an attack that left him with a scar on his right hip). This was the same day he discovered his powers, and also the day he decided that teaching himself some form of fighting would be necessary. He has since developed a unique fighting style where he utilizes sonic blasts to propel himself and attack his enemies, giving him moderately enhanced strength, but nothing that would be on the 'super human' level. He typically carries an iron pipe with him to use as a melee weapon, just in case he needs it. He also uses the pipe to 'preform', using it as an instrument to create music of various kinds.
In general, Silence is sort of a loner because of the mere fact that most people he knows end up hurt or dead by some fault of his. It doesn't help matters much that his parents were among the deceased, directly killed by a sonic blast he released on accident when he was too young to know what he was doing. He always assumed they died because of him, he just never really knew how (after all, he didn't actually realize he had powers until later on in life).
-Powers in Detail and Typical Techniques-
Sound Recreation: Through a medium of some sort, Silence can replicate sounds. Typically, pipes and other hollow tubes make the best mediums. He occasionally uses this talent to preform in an attempt to earn some extra cash, but he only does this in 'tolerant' areas. This can also be used to disorient opponents, confusing the living hell out of them by mimicking the voices of their allies. He's attempted to use this method to speak, but has found it too difficult given his current lack of refined control over his power.
Sonic Blast: The ability to manipulate the very sound barrier and create powerful distortions within it is a terrifying process. Silence can use such distortions, creating blasts large enough and powerful enough to destroy multiple buildings at a time. However, he typically keeps this power as restrained as possible, using minor blasts to manipulate his own movements and to throw his opponents back.
Mute: Silence can remove sounds from people, animals, things... Virtually anything. This ability is nearly as deadly as his Sonic Blast, as he can sneak around rather easily due to this power. However, he must focus on the object, being, or area he wishes to silence, and someone might suspect something when he can't carry on a conversation with a friend. Its range is very broad.
Fighting Style - Sonic Fist: A fighting style where Silence manipulates the sound barrier to amplify his movements and repel his enemies. It seems like some form of formal Martial Arts, but that is only due to the countless hours of practice Silence devoted to creating and perfecting the style. In spite of this training, however, he still isn't the most powerful fighter, and can easily overshoot or overestimate his power, causing his movements to fall out of form.

Silence is my least vorecentric character, but will still participate as a victim if the appropriate predator can take him down.))
