Tulpavatar

OOC NOTES

Always open to talk, this profil is getting an overhaul. If I'm OOC then that means I'm able to chat and jot down future rps.

Updates:

Finally finished the update :)
___

The inverse to another idea I’ve finished being NanoSapien. I did some research and found out the concept of a robot varies based on Western vs Eastern culture. This is the Western culture robot, instead of nanomachines it’s magicially conjured iron and steel used to create a robot that can be build and modified for whatever task is needed. Here's another pic of a tulpavatar modified to look more organic on the inside, able to break down and digest organic material along with a soul. ((had to make it a link since >img src="link of image" /< doesn't seem to work for it. ))

-

The picture used portrays the basic model for a tulpavatar (( found here http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/893-Would-You-Hit-It/page23 )); it's cold, hollow, and since it's a combat droid intimidating. There are many models that can be tweaked and modified for different uses based on powers and mentality.

___

In the beginning these were clanky, brainless, and soulless machines. . . but one nut job changed everything.
A raven monster who simply called himself: “The Photographer”, stalked a woman after she was impregnated with a video camera, then stalked the child that was born as a result to the day he/she died. Disturbing but harmless yes? Well what if I told you his camera could record and steal souls. When he uploaded this video to his computer, his hunch was correct: He captured the process of how a soul is formed, how it grows, and how it eventually sputters out and dies like a candle flame.

-

After some tweaking, he had made a .exe program that let him CREATE a soul from scratch. Selling his discovery to Yami Industries, he paved the way for the creation of tulpavatars, in short, a robot with a soul. A person just has to imagine the form and personality of what will eventually become their new weapon, and project it in front of him/herself. Capturing this imaginary specter in a special camera, the start of a soul is then converted into data and downloaded into a robot shell that matches the image the master had envisioned.

-

Robots with these digital souls become more like humans, actually having sentient intelligence, and given enough time interacting with humans; they can mimic the personality and thought patterns of those they talk to. Having a direct connection to their master’s mind and memories they have special powers that bend and change as their soul is exposed to the benevolence and cruelty of humanity.
((this vid goes over a tulpa and how things can change: ))

___

Well with that out of the way everything else is still the same. This is more of a sandbox profile where people can get their own robot weapon/servant to add to their profile. While they can’t shapeshift at will like nanosapiens, a tulpavatar can be given unlimited bodies to transfer their soul to depending on the situation. They’re bigger, more adept at wielding heavy artillery like rocket launchers, and they are borderline invincible since a tulpavatar’s memory and soul are always backed up, able to downloaded in another body.

-

The other more aspect of tulpavatars is a little more . . . GRIM; some evil people STEALING peoples’ souls in order to place them in robot shells, enslaving them to their will. If it’s not THAT, then it’s the actual society among tulpavatars: they keep in mind always that their primary objective is to upgrade and evolve into more powerful weapons with the most powerful being labeled Deus ex Machina (God born from machines) ; it’s Evolve or Die, and tulpavatars who don’t meet the standard are scrapped to make way for the next generation.
((this song sums the cutthroat mentality of the tulpavatars pretty nicely. ))
The rest of the stuff is not so much filler, but things that are skippable except those that really want to know more.

___

ROLEPLAY IDEAS

Evolve or Die: Tulpavatars are always under pressure to become stronger, the strongest models: “Deus ex Machina” imposing the unofficial rule that those who don’t meet the (unstated) quota deserve to be destroyed.

1. Seeing you have a power she could add to your arsenal you’re suddenly bombarded with the question “Can I borrow your soul” from the robotic stranger.

2. Failing to advance in strength, the tulpavatar’s mind is dumped into a flesh sack/human body with all her back up files erased. You could be an assassin hired to finish her off for good

___

Relocation: You pounded a Tulpavatar so hard that her soul is knocked loose, or maybe you’re in the factory yourself watching the soul about to be downloaded.

1. Perhaps you bought a Tulpavatar body of your own in your personal dwelling, and so you “capture” the soul to put it in the robot you have, binding it to your commands

2. The metal of the tulpavatar could be what you’re after instead, taking the now lifeless husk to be repurposed into a new weapon.

3. The last is more unique, on the verge of death YOUR soul is taken, scanned and absorbed to claim your powers, and put in a new tulpavatar.

___

Obsolete: To avoid the idea of building essentially immortal beings, after 100 years, a tulpavatar’s warranty is worn out and is denied repairs. At worst case scenarios, their parts and memories are deleted and their body melted down.

1. You could pull a Dr.Wily, and in return for unending loyalty you allow the tulpavatar to keep living under your care past their expiration date.

2. Maybe you were a criminal or former employee at Yami Industries; upon being fired a Tulpavatar is deployed to kill you and keep the knowledge you had gained secure.

3. In an abandoned warehouse you find a tulpavatar body, covered in rust. After refurbishing the robot you discover she has an ancient power or weapon that is no longer in mainstream production. With this antique you’re able to change the world rendering what are supposed to be top of the line models Obsolete

___

Infiltration: One of the main reasons the monsters went through such a radical change in their robot designs is when people invaded their homes killing them.

1. You could have been one of the invaders that day, abducting one of the first models only used for civilian purposes.

2. Maybe you’re coming back thinking you can get away if it, getting a harsh wake up call as a combat class tulpa shoves you down her throat.

3. Or maybe the Umbrae are so furious they decide to return the favor, invading your home world to destroy what you deem most important.

___

Bio suit Hazard: A micro given a tulpavatar to pilot from inside their head to make interacting with the much larger citizens easier; this model is still under scrutiny, plenty of bugs in the design.

1. A serious wound to her body, specifically her neck, sends you falling down from inside her head, to down her throat and into her stomach.

2. Ejected from her body in front of her from a blow to the back of the head, her controlling mechanism is damaged, seeing you as a tiny anomaly to be crushed beneath her feet.

Overall Facts

Originally designed to be a proxy for marriage couples based on Monster/human pairings; the original tulpavatar prototype was small, only 1 foot in height. Life was simple, and the married couples (usually small monsters themselves: dwarves, imps, and trolls that lived a few miles beneath Planet Nu's crust) were . . . content, not happy just content. The robot didn't carry that special spark that organic beings did; it felt more like they had created a toy than a daughter/son to shower love upon. Everything changed though when the angles of the Seraphian isles invaded their underground homes, killing as many monsters and humans as possible for their DNA.

-

The few survivors were outraged at this, their peace and isolation taken for weakness; however the truth was they weren't so much weak, rather than they had forgotten how to be strong. So they went deeper towards the mantle of the planet, where hell hounds, ogres/oni, and succubi lived; monsters that were more than willing to teach them. There was one condition though: that they got robots too, and after teaching the humans a few tricks and rituals, these robots fueled by revenge rivaled and at times even surpassed the nanosapiens.

___

Creating a company called "Yami Industries", the monsters and humans are currently in the middle of an industrial revolution, becoming obsessed with ways to murder people (primarily the angels) on the surface world; combining monster magic and human engineering, they've coined a term for their two fields of research: Magineering technology, and Binary DNA.

A: Magineering technology falls under two schools

1. The study of enchanting machines with magical properties, specifically giving them the ability to project this magic outward in the form of spells.

2. The study of transforming/transmuting pure elemental energy into ore which is then used to build machines or weapons.

B: Binary DNA is the product of breaking down organic and spiritual mass, and converting it into data. Because of this, vore has become an important part of Umbradellian culture, specifically soul vore.

1. The process of making a Tulpavatar is so reliant of Binary DNA that Yami industries has started hiring people to collect the souls of other humans, pure "angelic/holy" souls paid for triple the amount.

2. Tulpavatars are unique in that they are basically robots with a soul, given autonomy and sentience beyond even the most advanced robot technology.

3. Some people have taken advantage of the Tulpavatar project, volunteering to become tulpavatars to gain immortality while others seek the ever expanding database of knowledge that comes from a hive mind filled from literally millions of souls; however the vocal minority are using this to get REVENGE on the surface dwellers and the angels above even them.

___

Compared to nanosapiens, their needs are very similar; however they actually need more than their nanobot rivals.

1. ELECTRICITY

A foldable two prong in place of a belly button, and a usb plug hidden beneath their hair, a Tulpavatar actually needs up 4 times as much electricity as a nanosapien does to stay at maximum efficiency. To do so they can plug into wall outlets in your home, or drain the power cell of other robots like a vampire.

If a tulpavatar wants to host a sleepover with her other robot friends SAY NO! Two or more tulpavatars plugging into your home to recharge WILL cause a black out, and if they wanted to stuff you inside them you'd be defenseless.

-

2. FUEL

Unlike nanosapiens who are really a million tiny robots working together to create a single body, tulpavatars are one massive robot with a metal endoskeleton and oil for blood. Depending on the model, the fuel they intake makes them more like a car, for they can take leaded, unleaded, or diesel fuel.

However because of this they can become a hazard, tulpavatars that drink diesel belching out black exhaust making the air around them hazardous to breath. With the advent of Cloning technology, the monsters have come up with they idea of "BIO-FUEL". Prisoners are taken to a device where they are ground up into slush and then either drank like any other liquid.

-

3. MAINTENANCE
This one is often glanced over due to what will be listed below. If a tulpavatar's injuries aren't so bad the body is destroyed, you'll be expected to repair them yourself or take them to a mechanic and have them do it for you.

The best way to get around this is to teach your robot self maintenance, be careful though, because self maintenance gives them more independant thought; in short giving them more time to wonder if they REALLY need you bossing them around.

-

4. CONNECTION TO THE CLOUD/SUBCON NETWORK
This is one of the reasons why some people are very lax when it come to Tulpavatar maintenance; their soul, their memories, their existence is all backed up data in the collective database.

This can lead to a jarring experience when fighting against a tulpavatar, they are relentless in their pursuit, ignoring injures to their body and will readily sacrifice their teammates/themselves to the point of initiating a self-destruct. After the battle is over, Yami Industries will build a new body, and download all the back up files into it. Tulpavatars are borderline immortal, one step closer to being the ultimate weapon.

___

In the end, just how useful a tulpavatar is depends on the soul; snatch the soul of a maid, that's what their mental capacities will focus on and strive to improve in, becoming the perfect maid.
As a resultWhile nanosapiens are ultimately pets or toys, tulpavatars are seen solely as weapons. An ideal tulpavatar grows stronger by fighting other warriors and consuming/fusing the fallen soul with their own, taking in all the knowledge and memories of their prey.

-

Tulpavatars have their own society, ruled by the top of the line models: Deus ex Machina/God born from a Machine. An owner of a tulpavatar's ultimate goal should be increasing their robot's power so it is acknowledged by a Deus ex machina as a worthy weapon.
They are then given essentially the "ULTIMATE REWARD": A synthetic skin overlay of their choosing. Able to masquerade about as a human alongside their master, they go from the profile pic, to something more like this:

-

In the end though this can be compared to pokemon ethics: Nanosapiens are treated with love and care to make their true power blossom.
Tulpavatars are treated with cold hard truths, throwing away hollow pleasantries to focus only on getting stronger fast as possible, no matter the consequences.
So come ye dominatrices and slave traders, and enter all assassins and necromancers; there are no judges on ethics and morals, only the results matter in the end.

Personality

Their personalities aren't connected to an elemental affinity like nanosapiens, rather they bend to the aspects of the powers they wield or the task that is expected of them. because of this they simply labeled: right cerebral, left cerebral, or bi-cerebral.

___

The focus of the left brain is verbal, processing information in an analytical and sequential way, looking first at the pieces then putting them together to get the whole.
-
Left brain thinkers are the most robotic in they are cold and analytical. They can take something that is complex and break it down into its individual parts.
-
They are best at office jobs, factory jobs, or anything that has repetition to it. Their strength is the ability to more swiftly recognize patterns, and are aware of rhythm and trends.
They most fit the robotic ideal of being efficient at any cost, but when it comes time to clock out and go into society people keep away from them, for they come off as pricks or snobs.

___

The right brain thinkers fit more into extracurricular activities, imaginative and abstract focuses on the visual, and processes information in an intuitive and simultaneous way, looking first at the whole picture then the details.

-

Right brain is non-verbal and intuitive, using pictures rather than words.
They are creative and sensory, arguably the most "humane" between the two.

-

They are often seen as diplomats, ambassadors, or anything that requires a more wide awareness and intuition rather than only concrete facts. They are the most aware of feelings, and how people react to the feelings of others. They are the more emotional of the two which makes combat detestably difficult, written off as idiots to their logical counterpart.

___

Every now and then however, a tulpavatar's soul will be in equilibrium, able to do tasks using both the right and left cerebral functions evenly. These are called the bi-cerebral ultimately to single them out as better than the individualists.

-

They serve to teach that no one side is really better than the other; however certain mentallitys work best depending on the situation or task that is being performed. Bi-cerebral souls as a result are incredibly expensive, able to have a tulpavtar that functions well in work as well as meager tasks.

-

The other work around is usually to get two tulpavatars from each side, and force them to work together. If they don't try to kill each other out of frustration or being threatened at being replaced with their competition, the left brain and right brain can be fused together into a new robot model, fusing the souls into one.

Powers/Models

Unlike nanosapiens, they generally have less powers as individuals. Their power comes as a whole, able to decked out and modified for whatever mission or task is being asked of them.

1. Access to the subconscious: Created from your memory, a tulpavatar has access to your subconscious; they are able to remind you of things you had forgotten years ago, becoming a repository for everything you had ever known.

2. Emotional override: Spawning from your conscious thoughts, they can become impulsive; if their master is weak, the tulpavatar can hijack their master's mind, flooding them with a specific emotion like anger to make their master act on their impulses to fight and devour.

3. Self destruct: Death having no meaning to them, they can forcefully damage their core to the point they detonate taking out everyone near them within 6 feet.

4. Scan: The only way a tulpavatar can become an individual, everytime they fight someone, they scan their soul with their eyes taking in their powers and combat skills. The more they scan, the more they can copy the original wielder; and downloading the soul into their body completely makes the imitation flawless.

5. Mimicry: Listening to someone and observing them long enough, a tulpavatar can copy how a person acts. If they need to do a stealth mission, a tulpavatar with enough training can kidnap someone and masquerade as them for as long as they need to.

All the tulpavatars' potential powers and knowledge of weaponry or magic are accessible by their cloud networking. However based on the soul of the tulpavatar, they can only utilize certain powers because of the mind associated with it can only comprehend certain things. All monsters and humans couldn't comprehend magic, so out of spite they came up with man-made elements to counter and snuff out the nanosapiens that attempted to combat them.

They came up with three elements, and organized their "elements" based on brain orientation.

1.If they were a concrete thinker/Left brain oriented they were locked into choosing from the METAL element.

2. If they were creative and more emotionally unstable, they were locked into the PSI element.

3. However for those special snowflakes who were bi-cerebrel, they were able to choose from both Metal, Psi, and a third element PRIMAL.

___

Drill Element

Originally built to drill new tunnels/open new passageways into monster settlements, this sub-type is essentially the anti-earth nanosapien.
They use their large primary drill to pierce through Earth nanosapien defenses, and can control smaller secondary drills to pierce and shatter any rocks they attempt to through at them.
They can cause earthquakes by striking at faultlines and shifting tectonic plates around with their secondary drill.
Finally they can suck in rocks and dirt from the opening in their arms/sleeves, and with the intense internal grinders in their stomach create small time sandstorms
-
personality wise they are very stubborn and sober. They give off a very bored and aloof appearance, almost impossible to break them out of a task once it's started. They distance themselves from reality, almost literally staying behind an iron wall. However once that wall is shattered, it'll take forever for them to build it back up, heavily vulnerable to romance and new experiences good or bad, once their emotional wall is down they become very unsure and timid; terrified of saying something to upset their new friend.

___

Drain element

Originally built to relocate fluids, from one power plant to next, and the creation of artificial lakes, this sub-type is essentially the anti-water nanosapien; They can also be tempered to be ANTI_MAGIC in general.

Their strategy is the most straight forward, slurp up the water sapien core through the nozzle on the bottom of her mech and process/digest them into energy. They can function independent of her mech and drain people of their energy/magic through siphons on their hands; however they prefer to use it for moving around, able to use it as an extension of herself the lid on the top able to come off and food thrown inside to a much bigger processing station.
-
Personality wise they are like spiders, they can be very cuddly but they give off an eerie aura especially if they crawl on top of you from under the covers. They love the feel of a full tank and are as a result the biggest eaters of the Archene sub-types; they are prone to eating their masters to feel them squirm in their stomach, but they won't go so far to digest their master unless specifically told to.

___

Laser element

The Primal Laser subclass was originally built to make precision cuts into stones like geodes to see what was inside, or to make perfect measurements for construction; after a minor tweak these tulpavatars were the main ones actively allowed to cross blades with humans.

The Laser element took very little to modify. They can use many different weapons, but they feel most at home using weapons like plasma cutters, light sabers, etc. Any kind of weapon that can slice through defenses and other weapons with ease.

As for personality they are almost the perfect embodiment of a weapon.
Some are hard and stern they are stubborn as an oak standing firm against adversity.
At the same time others are very soft and graceful, welcoming people into their arms and will help others if their mater orders it.

___

Plasma element

Designed as the only beings able to safely pick up and work with radioactive stones/elements, and scout out locations that are currently under nuclear fallout, Plasma tulpavatars are the anti-wind nanosapien.

Those vats on her back aren't for show, they are filled with thick hot plasma, the wires attached to her blades allows her to let the slime ooze out of the blade with each slash and stab. She can also shoot it from the vats like rocket launchers, so that when a Wind sapien is hit by it they are slowed down, unable to fly any longer. What follows is very hard to explain.
The plasma digests you pre-emptively, turning your body into goo, once you're mostly liquefied she'll use her plasma needler to suck you back into one of the plasma vats able to more actively digest you, submerging you in the neon green slush and watch you digest.

As for personality, they are similar to their wind counterparts, the most bubbly of the subtypes, loving to play mad scientists. Nothing gives the more joy than filling their vats with plasma, converting other things into plasma. The vats/harness apart of her design, she can feel everything if something is moving about in the vats, the hot good making her feel all warm and cozy inside.
At the same time if her vats are empty she's very somber/irritable, taking out her frustration on other people, playing made scientist with people not on her list to leave alone by her master.

___

Spirit element

At first they were built to be the mascots for all tulpavatars, the surveys almost had this subtype scrapped entirely for being "too terrifying". When they learned Feral monsters felt the same way, Spirit tulpavatars were used as the jack of all trades in regards to abilities, their selling point being they controlled a much larger mechanical monstrosity; with a minor upgrade they became the anti-fire nanosapien.

They were bigger than fire nanosapiens usually so that was a plus, and their monster spirit gave them increased mobility and power. But the main trait they carry is their bodies can handle immense levels of heat, and their spirits can act like fire extinguishers.
Either they can scarf them down while they're flame still burns and suffocate them from lack of oxygen inside their monster, or douse the flames so the main humanoid body can more easily swallow them whole.

As personality wise, they are described as the most scary. Like fire nanosapiens they are hard to control, attempting to scare away or eat their master if they feel they are too weak to wield them in combat. They are very prideful and arrogant, needing to be eaten/defeated themselves before the idea their master is indeed strong kicks in.

___

Fume element

Originally used to filter all the toxic fumes from the smoke stacks into energy, this tulpavatar was re-engineered for combat, able to combat humans but also act as another anti-water sapien. Those mufflers on her back do exactly as you'd expect; after guzzling down a cup of leaded fuel, by revving up their fuel cell they can belt out black foul smelling smoke.

Their primary purpose is "riot control" if too many people start causing a ruckus a Fume type will be deployed, making them choke on her poisonous gases until they run away. Against a water nanosapien she'll through canisters of unleaded fuel her target before using her flamethrower, make their now flammable bodies evaporate until only their core remains, popped into her mouth like rock candy

Personality wise they're more like a sheriff, they can get down and party with the best of them, but if they know someone is doing something immoral they'll give the firmest chewing out anyone has ever seen before dragging them kicking and screaming to jail or down into her stomach.

___

Tendril element

Originally built to help rescue people who fell into or lost things in the artificial lakes of Umbradel, Tendril types were the first subclass of the PSI element. With so many limbs to control they needed a bigger CPU/brain to compensate.

The tendril unit got it's name for obvious reasons, the tentacles that it manipulates in place of arms and hands. Like an octopus they are very intelligent to the point they can deployed as anti-earth as well as anti-fire sapiens. The tentacles are used for restraining many people at a time. For earth sapiens, they can restrain them using their long tentacles and then deliver a powerful bite that can crack skulls. For fire sapiens they spit out ink that comes in a multitude of colors, this puts out the sapien's flames allowing them to be eaten or dismembered effortleslly.

Personality wise, Tendril subclass Tulpavatars are smart as they are arrogant. It's very easy for one to try and undermind their master's intelligence, and will challenge their master to battles of smarts when things are quiet.

___

Mercury Element

As Yami industries started using more durable, powerful, and DANGEROUS metals, eventually this tulpavatar was designed. The second subclass to the PSI element, the only part of her that is truly solid is her head seat that focuses her powers. The drill, the blade and everything else is liquid metal, in this case mercury.

These can usually be found inside the factory, and as such it can be hard to tell them apart from one another when on the assembly line. When provoked into battle they can vomit up liquid metal from within their stomach and morph it into other weapons and items, because of this they aren't built to directly counter anything walling off threats evenly.
They rely on either sheer numbers or a relentless assult, devouring you and drenching you in the toxic metal so you pass out, left stranded outside Umbradel, on the surface world; so addled from the mercury inside your body, you're easy pickings for other monsters to devour.

Personality wise Mercury subclass tulpavatars are the most analytical and stern. You'd swear their funny bone was surgically removed, having a hard time understanding sarcasm and taking jokes literally. They can work for hours on end, a master needing to DEMAND they stop working and start having fun for a change.. . . only for them ask "what is fun" XD

___

Gauntlet Element

A byproduct of the ogres desire to crush the Seraphs and their nanocells, this was the first subclass of the last manmade element: PRIMAL. No flame throwers, no swords, no maic, just a machine augmented to crush and destroy using their body alone.

The gauntlet subclass is what you'd expect, a tulpavatart relies solely on its hands to do damage, able to carry heavier loads and block oncoming attacks. Unlike every other tulpavatar on this list who attack the nanosapiens first, Primals attack the master/I.E YOU first. Shrugging off attacks they'll rush you down, doing everything in their power to grab you; if they pull it off "Get ready for the sweet release" because there's little you can do to make them stop.

Personality wise they can be rude or gentle, but in the end they both enjoy struggling prey in their clutches, slowly squeezing and crushing them before cramming them down their even tighter throats.

___

Bullet Element

After the Seraph invasion even the dwarves and goblins were rattled enough to want protection. Not tall enough to be taken seriously, the Ogres made them the Bullet subclass of the Primal element.

These can vary immensely, but they are usually want dwarves and goblins reclass their casual tulpavatars into when they need protection more than labor. They always have a firearm on their person, able to do quickly incapacitate intruders, letting the goblin/dwarf masters get in close enough to bring their clubs down over peoples' heads.
They don't have much in the way of being able to eat people, though shrinking bullets are in development as we speak.

Personality wise they are incredibly narrow minded to things outside of shooting. They are very impatient, like their bullets they try to take the quickest route when a problem arises and are very inflexible when things don't go as planned, needing their master to guide them.

___

Monster element

Probably the only tulpavatar that was designed before Yami Industries was founded, These are the only class to not be grouped under a specific element. Relying not on magic but the special techniques and power of the monster they were are built to imitate. These were from a time before the seraphs invaded, and tulpavatars were raised as children between humans and monsters.

More often than not they are dwarves are goblines, this is a dwarf build; they aren't as tall as the other tulpavatars ranging from 3 feet to 4 feet. They make up for this though by having a higher sync rate with their body than other tulpavatars able to move faster and strike harder than other weapon/combated oriented designs.

Personality wise they are a mix of wind and fire; they are very curious about the world, and enjoy playing with others. Unlike human children though moster subtypes are usually very protective of their parents and will clobber anyone who gets too close to their parents without warning the child first.

How a Tulpavatar is built

There are two styles of a Tulpavatar being created.

Child/Civilian class

The process is difficult requiring an Animancer/(a manipulator of souls) and a Technemancer/(a manipulator of technology); the first step requires the animancer taking the souls of the human and monster and slamming them into each other while they focus all of their thoughts on their future child.
-
Eventually a small portion is left, composed of the complete fusion of the two souls; before the soul fragment can dissolve, a picture of the soul is taken, and through being put on the computer is converted into data.

__

After this engineers relocate the soul file to an Isolated computer that has been wiped clean of all excess files, the mechanical equivalent of a womb for the baby to grow. Unlike with nanosapiens, tulpavatars are slightly less hands on, needing to be monitored at least once a week rather than every day. As time passes more Binary DNA is created, taking up more spaces as new files are created like .wav/MP3/MP4, JPEGs/PNGs, AVIs, and after awhile .EXE files.

-
The picture files are usually how the tulpa sees itself.

Dreams are WMV or MP4 files. Adding pictures of people and animals can help guide/manipulate the baby into imaging a certain body.

MP3/.WAV files are usually the baby's voice

and .EXE files are something that needs to be designed by the engineers. Once the exe file is done the fun part starts.

__

Depening on how much magic is to be put into the vessel, the technemancer will impart more energy into its creation; the engineers meanwhile build everything like the skeletal/infrastructure, the motor control/autonomous system, and with all parts in tow, the technemancer assembles the body fitting together perfectly.

-

A USB port at the back of the neck, belly button, or forehead is where the soul file is inserted and once plugged in the .EXE file is activated turning the Avatar.

-

The Tulpa can now sustain itself without being thought about by the mother and father constantly; with a physical body it can interact with objects unlike their pure spiritual counterpart.

___

Murderer/Weapon class

After the nanosapiens invaded the humans and docile monsters, they fled deeper underground to their demonic and destructive brothers and sisters; the hell hounds, dragons, and succubi gave shelter to their weaker brethren but tried to shut out the humans at first.
The humans revealed though they felt angry and betrayed, they were disgusted at their human origin; they begged the monsters to let them become monsters themselves.

The idea of unbirth was foolish back then, so Black dragons taught the humans of a way to turn into Umbrae (beings of shadow, boogiemen and women); a handful of humans wanting to become tulpavatar as well, to become an immortal terror that will forever hunt and destroy the angels. So the monsters taught all the hateful humans, the ritual that would transform them into umbrae, but put a little twist at the very end.

After they had finished transforming into umbrae, the dragons soul vored them; making them a robotic duplicate soon afterwards, they downloaded their hateful soul into their unaging body. These would eventually becoming the Deus ex Machina that rule over the lesser tulpavatars, spoon feeding them the mentality that their only purpose is to kill and become stronger.

Backstory

In the old days, monsters threatened the land of Nu; so the collective population split up, one group going deep underground, while the other uprooted massive chunks of land and using their magic made they soar high up into the sky.
-
The people underground faced a lot of opposition, there were plenty of monsters underground as well, but unlike the titans, these were not only sentient but intelligent: Various ogres/oni, dwarfs, and goblins.
These monsters couldn't care less about the titans above, having the strength to fight these monsters back. The yet-to-become Umbrae begged for the dwarfs for help and protection.
-
The Dwarfs having ready access to rare ore, minerals, and knowledge of crafting, and the humans had the size to wield weapons made from such ore; they made a pact, living together and helping each other.
Apart of this pact was the creation of Tulpavatars, a blueprint for as they described it: "spirit wreathed head to toe in metal, born from the mind of the wielder."

___

As a way of showing thanks, the Umbrae used their tulpavatars to slay the insane titans above the earth, before finally returning to the earth for good. This cemented the trust between the humans and monsters, the two parties working together to upgrade and revamp the design better each time to have fun.

They stopped at the Lisp model for a long while, small like the dwarves and goblins this was a work around for the few pairs that grew to love each other; they feared what actual sexual intercourse would result in so for a long time ulpavatars were built and raised as children. Everything changed though when the Seraphs attacked, invading the underground and reclaim the world of Nu in it's entirety. The nanosapiens and dwarf tulpavatars looked almost identity.
-
this along with the fact the Humans from above, dared to boss them around SENT THE OGRES INTO A RAGE. The Red Onis rallied up all the Hobgoblins, convincing them this isn't something they should take lightly; the Seraphs thought that in them doing nothing the surfaces dwellers assumed they were pushovers.
With the Ogres demanding they have tulpavatars made for them now as well, the final step, ARCHENE model tulpavatars were made; these were built for not simply self defense but to KILL, especially to destroy nanocells

___

The Seraphs were attacked so viciously the next time they attempted to invade they grovelled and begged for their lives for the first time in years. The monsters told them curtly NEVER to show their faces, or attempt to cross their paths ever again, closing Umbradel off from the Seraphian isles. The monsters were happy that they agreed so quickly, for THEM peace was restored, but such ferocity shook e rest of the nations hard.
The Dwarves and goblins returned to their normal lives, the Umbrae happy to do the same, but the ogres and oni were still very sore about the events and made sure it couldn't happen again.
-
The Red oni took over designing and training new Archene tulpavatars, with no angels to mutilate they made "Yami industries", a factory that produces tulpavatars more regularly, and allows citizens who plan to become permanent residents of Umbradel have one so they fight at a moments notice (kinda like pokemon).
-
The Blue oni meanwhile took a more legal approach to quash (reject or void, especially by legal procedures) all communications with the surface world and the Seraphian isles. Any human or monster who attempts to buy a nanocell/nanosapien or go to the Seraphian isles will be exiled and executed should they attempt to return home.
They had tulpavatars, so the Seraphians could roast in one of their ovens for all they cared; they didn't know word would spread, and all monsters even those above ground would grow to believe that getting nanosapiens legally was forbidden, provoking them to steal and kill others for them.

Never/Dislike being normally in a robotic/metallic body they don't taste that well.
However if you can transplant their spirit inside a living breathing person then all is fair game.
