So for a general rundown, the seilfyn guild is an adventuring guild that has a job request board system. The job requests can be accepted by anyone, as long as they meet a rank requirment, listed on the job itself. You can take on jobs one rank above yours if you bring an escort of two ranks above you to watch over you and decide wether or not you are truly ready for the next rank. If you are, you will be allowed to go up a rank. For the highest rank, you will need to bring along someone of the highest rank, for obvious reasons. Members can form parties as large as they want, however reward shares are to be discussed prior to leaving for the job and the form detailing such given to Saya, Yvaris, iyari, or dropped into Iyari's mail slot. All quest rewards are handled by Yvaris or Saya, and in some cases Iya if neither are available. When listing a job, the client gives us a detailed run through of what the issue is, and it's assigned a rank based on that. Then, the client can offer an amount of money as a reward, or some form of material object. 10% of the reward is given directly to the guild's funds, and the other 90% is listed as the posted reward for the job. In the case where the reward is an item, the client pays 5% of an estimated market value of the item. Client negotiations are generally handled by Yvaris or Erva. In the case of the client not truthfully giving input on the difficulty of the job, (i.e. saying there's 5 goblins when they know there's 20 to make the job D rank rather than C, therefore making it less costly) the guild is allowed to fine the client 500% of their estimated minimum for the proper rank of the job, and they, along with any governmental affiliates in applicable cases, will be unable to request a job from the guild for ten years. In the case where an unexpected event occurs relating to a job, or there are forces outside the client's knowledge, the client is to inform the guild immediately, or face a fine equal to the job's reward costs, which is added 10-90 to the guild-posted reward as normal.(in the case of an item reward, it is instead 100% of the new rank's minimum price, 20% of which is added to the posted price.) If the rank would not change as a result of the unforseen event, no fine is issued. The guild offers services for adventurers going out on jobs, including optional rations for the estimated duration of the job, a deal with the travel company, allowing free travel for guild business, and a small discount for personal use for members after a certain time, magic items for those who rely on them,(however, if any are damaged, you must pay their price, and work it off if you have to.) On-site housing for parties out on jobs(Usually small shacks, or sometimes houses provided by the people of a nearby town/city, and access to the guild's reformation altar. The altar is where guild members will wake up if they are killed.(We REALLY try to avoid this as much as possible, and death is still taken almost as seriously as it would be without the altar unless you're eaten by a guild member ofc owo.) It works on a queueing system, where the first person to be queued is the first to be reformed. It doesnt work instantly, taking about an hour per person. One does not wake up with anything on them, and there are a variety of clothing available in the altar room for you to wear, you can go to Neira's tailory in the nearby town to get clothing remade, assuming you've submitted your form to her as instructed below. As for the guild itself, it offers many services, dorms for its members, which are paid for by either meeting a job quota, forfeiting 20% of the reward money unless your quota has already been met.(if it's an item, you instead buy it from the guild at 15% est. market value) or by simply paying a rent, the job quota option giving you a little cheaper price, overall. There are multiple grades of rooms, generally based on the amount each rank would be making. Along with dorms, there are various facilities such as a kitchen, waterways and a specific job board for those who are restrained to the water, a resteraunt with a free buffet breakfast every sunday for all of our members rank B and above(or those who have recieved special permission for doing well on many non-combat jobs, which generally are at tiers F-D), a hot springs area, a library, training grounds, and plenty other stuff! As far as shopping goes, job preperation and otherwise, there's Ina's alchemy store, for a few magical potions, and a large variety of non-magical potion-esque concoctions, a blacksmith shop, for armor and weapons, and for leisure shops, there's Saya's resteraunt open most nights and afternoons, and Erva's Seilfyn gift shop, which also carries various hygenic and common life items, mainly for those staying with the guild at the dorms. We also have an agreement with Neira's tailory in the local town, within easy walking distance of the guild, around two miles down the path leaving the main building. If you talk with her and give her a form listing your height and weight(There's plenty available in the member lounge, where the job board is), you can register with her to get your measurements and always have a spare set of clothes available there after you reform, at a heavily discounted price.
(This is copy pasted from an explanation I gave in a discord chat with a few friends. I will clean this up in the future, but lazy Iya is lazy)
