Scarlet is the Queen of Yoshi's Island, having rose to power after her mother died and by proving her worthiness to the island's residence after having coordinated a large group of Yoshi's to push the remainder of Bowser's Koopa Troopa off the island, leaving several peaceful Koopa, Shyguy's, and several others stay. Having done this, the Yoshi's of the island and the new permanent residents were happy that she would earn her place on throne.

Her past
Scarlet, of coarse, was a Princess before her rise of power. Starting from age 7, she had already taken on most of her royal duties with her dad already having passed away from a sickness, leaving her to help her mother lead a whole island. The time her dad died was around the time two strange people began showing up... A slightly chubby man dawning red and a tall skinny man in green, sometimes bringing a lady in pink with long blonde hair. Scarlet never personally met them when they visited as her mom would always speak with them. She only heard that they were hero's from a far away land there to ask for help from the villagers... Though Scarlet blames them for her father's sickness and resulting death. They were strange and could have been bringing foreign virus' with them, which made her mad that this could happen. From that point, she grown to have a great hatred of human's.

Around her 11th birthday, Scarlet received the necklace she dawns today from her mother. Her mother told her that the amulet held great power and that it would be tied to only her, giving the comfort that she could never actually lose her mother's gift. She was also given the music box. She was explained that the music box held significance of the royal Yoshi family before her's and that the music box was given to her after her family took the thrown after a particularly nasty Queen had been murdered before her own mother took the place of said Queen. She was taught the words of the chime, which explained that the King before her father was nice and friendly, but his wife, the prior Queen, was controlling and foul hearted, which lead for her to be planned for assassination but the assassin had missed and accidentally killed the king via an arrow shot to the heart. From this, Scarlet learned that being unfair, mean, and overall heartless could be costly.

A year would pass with Scarlet now being 12 and she would be now forced to begin winning the public's trust, both as to have her look like a good leader, but to convince the villagers that she was meant for the throne, when her time came as being unfit for the throne would relinquish her power and have the next influencing Yoshi family to take the honors of being promoted to royalty. Scarlet worked hard at this, not because she had to, but because she wanted to. After her father's death to the "humans", she felt an urge to protect the Yoshi from them, especially with stories that humans enslave Yoshi and kill them for their own safety floating around in rumors from the village elders. While on one of her outings with a Yoshi troop to show them how to survive if they were out in the surrounding jungle passed dark, her mother would have passed away from natural causes. Upon her return, Scarlet would be devastated, causing her to go into hiding for a long time...

Several years would pass since that point, the Yoshi Princess now around 17 years old, whom now had a complete vendetta against the human race, had now entered her availability to become head of the island. Her first order of business was to get rid of things that defiled the islands, such as Koopa and Shyguy built fortresses. With strategy and concentrated attacks, each fortress would crumble before Scarlet and the groups she brought with her, leaving a good impression with her leadership skills and that she herself was not afraid to get dirty for the island. Next was evicting the hostile Koopa Troopa army. Noting Bowser now had presence on the island from swift break downs of fortress's and castles, she personally attacks Bowser's last remaining castle. Unfortunately, even with Scarlet's caution and skill, the battle to clear the castle and get to the big King himself was not without losses on her side. Several Yoshi had lost their lives in the siege, which only drove the Princess to push harder, not only for the island, but for the ones whom died fighting for it. With some resistance, Scarlet was eventually able to overcome the obstacles the turtle king set up, bursting into his chamber where a fight between King and Princess took place. The fight must have lasted an hour, and even with some dark magic help from Kamek, Scarlet proved too much of a challenge for him. Battered and weakened, Bowser called mercy, which is when Scarlet used her necklace's magic to banish him from returning from the island as well as his army.

After such a victory and take down of such a threat to the more calm way of life the Yoshi lead, she was awarded by the villagers that she was more then worthy to lead them, which she does to this day, protecting the island from threats and keeping those who look up to her safe.

Necklaces abilities: Her necklace allows her to use spells and magic. Spells can range from shrinking people to making her hundreds of feet tall, creating some items from thin air, casting protective magic's of sorts(which have limitations), using offensive magic's, and allowing her to reform if her body is destroyed. The necklace cannot be taken off because it was infused with her soul at the time she became Princess.

Music box : It holds the remains of her parents. This is the only thing she has to remember her parent, aside from a few pictures and her necklace. It plays a very calming tune such as this one. (Click here to listen -->) Music box tune .

Okay(75%-51% Yellow text): Minor damages but nothing too bad.
Hurt(50%-26% Orange text): Some damages but still somewhat okay. She is weaker at this point.
Major wound(25%-1% Red text): Major damage! She's been nearly fatally wounded or is close to death!
HEAT!(Purple text, will not show health % during that time): Just as it says, she is in heat and able to be impregnated! She however is a little more snappy to those around her. This happens through Spring and Summer. though less common through Autumn and Winter, for about 3-5 days at a time randomly.
