Macbeth

*History*
Meet Macbeth. It's a strange creature, that much is to be certain. A plant that developed under the stairs in a student household and continued to grow unchecked until its vines seeped out from the stairs and began to creep along the carpet of the downstairs hallway. Where upon it was seen and cut back.

Sadly for the students who lived there, Macbeth was rooted under the house and in the foundations and they were unable to dislodge it. Each time it grew back and became faster and more adapted to their attempts to stop it.

The main pod of the plant is capable of subterrainian activity. Meaning it can dig and move itself underground much like a mole with the use of its leaves and vines.

Macbeth chose its name as the first book it ever read while under the stairs, left to develop with the thrown away and forgotten books of many students. As such, it knows enough to pass a degree in virtually any course with the exception of Biology, particularly plantlife.

From these books it learned to speak, write, communicate, form constructive criticisms and develop speech and verbal pattern recognition. It first made itself known to the others of the house when the all students were attacked by a burglar who was about to assault them all when four vines wrapped around his chest and legs and dragged him under the stairs, a quick slurp and a gulp later and Macbeth announced his presence with a fine burp before peering its pod around the edge of the stairs and waved to the dumbstruck students with its vines.

It has been a guard-plant ever since. Usually getting read of door to door salesmen and playing chess with the students despite not having eyes.

*physical*
Macbeth is both sentient and non-sentient. During daylight, the sunlight causes increased mental activity which allows for focused and higher brain functions, giving it the capacity to speak, reason, communicate and debate with most other sentient creatures.

During the night, its mind is dormant and the plant relies almost entirely upon natural instincts.

Macbeth is a pod plant, it has one main pod which opens up and uses several leaves to act as a tongue to aid in communicaction and eating live prey. It has multiple vines from the base of its stems and vines within the pod, usually passing prey into its fleshlike maw or holding and containing up to 8 prey at once. The vines themselves of various thicknesses and lengths.

Underground, the plant has 3 main digestive chambers. These are used to keep prey within its body while it digests and consumes them.

The vines have many highlighly sensitive fibres coming from them that are monomolecular in thickness, invisible to the naked eye and can sense heat, pheremones, light and movement. Using them to detect all manner of prey, creatures, friends, foes, movements and how/where to lash its vines to coil its prey and devour it.

Macbeth also as a plant, has both genders capacity to breed. Upon male prey, it can coax seed to its leaves and use this to germinate future buds and bulbs. Though more often than not it just eats the prey and ignores all prospects of reproduction.

For female prey, it can seed its pollen through a sticky sap within the plants mouth and vines that will carry its offspring into the host and grow and develop with that host body. Sadly though, being a one-off plant, all of its offspring are nothing more than creeper weeds. Which are usually removed after a VERY embarassing visit to the doctor. (Which some of the female members of the student household have had to do more than one).

*Prefs*
Macbeth is 100% predatory and only does soft vore. This is not to say it only eats and mates. Sometimes it has been invited to parties hosted by the housemates where it has been given a lot to drink of various alcohols and woken up with the rest of the housemates with vines in various places and wrapped around all manner of people.

During the daytime, Macbeth is intelligent, considerate but still a predatory being. During the night, it is entirely acting upon instinct and asleep, so don't expect to for it to speak back while its vines snare and eat you, or worse.

*Location*
At the moment, Macbeth has come to the park to find one of his housemates who somehow found her way here. Macbeth will either be looking for her in the park, or back in her home.

*What does Macbeth offer in a scene*
Macbeth offers prey either to be devoured whole in a painful or non-painful digestion.
To breed prey before devouring them in the aforementioned method.
To catch and release predators after enjoying them within its vines and pod through bondage or breeding, or both.

*What should I do to "enjoy" Macbeth*
Be sure if you want sentient or non-sentient.
Preds, be sure to let it be known if you want eating or not, the default is no. Meaning Macbeth will release preds afterwards.
Prey, be sure to let it be known if you want to be consumed painfully or not, the default is they prey will succumb to the plants control before they feel the digestion.
