Super Basic Information A Gogo
Name: Draconian, so he calls himself at least.
Race: Dragon, Western(?). Anthro, commonly.
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 265lbs.
Scales: Scarlet
Eyes: Blood Red
Physical Description
Draconian is typically observed as an anthropomorphic draconic bipedal, quite large by human standards, much smaller by others who dwell in the area. His body frame and structure implies it was meant to be far more athletic and agile, his constant state of activity has had it developing along a more muscular, bulky state, robbing him of speed for sake of power. His body is entirely covered with smaller, overlapping, scarlet hexagonal scales, running downwards from the center of the top of his skull where his scalp ends. The hair there is a sort of silvery white hair lacking luster emerges in a mane running down his spine to between his shoulder blades where its source ceases. A varied array of spines jutting from his skeletal structure sweep back from his skull, starting from his brows and cheekbones.
Several sections of his body are reinforced by evolutionarily dictated, thickened plates of scale of a darker, almost brown crimson color, notably along the bridge of his nose, and across his front, ceasing at his navel. A pair of large wings sprout from his back, looking thick, devoid of vulnerable membrane and entirely incapable of producing sufficient lift. And in that observation, you would be correct - his wings do not provide flight capability as an anthropomorphic creature. To keep this particular part short, his nethers are almost entirely hidden by typically overlapping scale, doing so in an inconspicuous manner as to give impression that the dragon is in fact genderless at a glance, or even ranged inspection. His primary joints and tendons mostly based off humanoid configuration, Draconian possesses typical leg joints, hand function and maneuverability capability of a human with added strength and flexibility, his connective tissues possessing a strange, especially stretchy capacity. A long tail, nearly measuring his standing height, protrudes from just above his rump in continuation of his spine.
Psychological Description
Draconian grew up as a troubled young dragon. Feral, he witnessed firsthand the death of his father and sibling, leaving only he and his brother remaining in the aftermath of an untold horror. Passively scarred, his brother set off on his own path, reacting to the atrocity with an overwhelming sensation of righteous vengeance filling his heart while Draconian remained behind, determined to strive for a life of peace and calm. The dragon would remain mostly alone for his entire mortal life from there on, occasionally enjoying the rare pleasure of company to distract him from his thoughts.
Draconian is a lonely creature, cresting mature adulthood, spending the majority of his days exercising, reading, and tinkering with various bits of technology. Much to his dismay, the exercising leaves his body sore, the reading his mind ablaze with pain, and the tinkering resulting in little more than destructive technology, to which he scraps immediately. On rare occasion, he will gather the confidence to move into the park, several past events having forced the dragon into a state of solace and solitude for several years. He often finds his trips in resulting in undesirable fashion. Between being asked to consume, asked to be consumed, viewing those around the area in desperate need of help though unable to bring himself to do so. That latter part in particular destroying him more than anything generally leaves him more content than not to remain quietly tucked away in his home.
Such a lifestyle has left the dragon a very calm, rational, peaceful creature, though his mind bears the scars of past events. Weights bearing down heavily upon it has strained the psyche of Draconian greatly over time, giving him the impression of creeping psychosis, but for the most part, he ignores it, and moves on as happily as he can about his day. Beyond eager to help those who would ask it of him, he can prove to be an extremely loyal friend, self sacrificing and selfless to the core. As an ally, he can be pressed to more aggressive action under proper circumstance, though he'll always be the first to attempt to negotiate a peaceful resolution to any given scenario.
Abilities Description
Being a dragon, Draconian inherently possesses a myriad of unique and powerful potential that is almost never utilized more than a few times a year at best. Most involve self preservation and combat capability, several different scale of breath based weaponry at his disposal. Advanced regeneration abilities, inherent arcane outbursts, the capability of shifting between his normally seen anthro form and a much larger feral one, his final ability may come as a slight surprise in its misplacement. Psionics. Indeed, with such resources at his disposal, he is rarely concerned for the nature of his own survival, though it strains him greatly to resist putting them to use for more... heroic purposes, from saving damsels from hungry maws, to outright assassination of extremely high priority targets. Such thoughts are nothing more than whimsical daydreams in his mind, and never see fruition.
Draconian possesses a strong natural affinity for technology, and generally spends his days reading up on how to work with this or that, keeping up with the times, and proceeding to take things apart, only to put them back together. Any and all things mechanical are his joy, and when he's not tinkering, he's making sure his unused arsenal of firearms is well maintained, as is his vehicle that he occasionally partakes use in, afraid to on a normal basis on account of his more... sharp, physical dimensions. Should he decide to, his transportation of choice could either involve a Zonda F, or a Suzuki GSXR-1000.
Finally, in more rudimentary combat prowess that never sees use, he typically exercises through martial practice of hand to hand and swordplay, finding the first rather empowering to be capable of the act, and the former almost more of an art. An act worthy of epic tale and song to be recounted by ancient bard and recorded in book should be something worth spending some time of keeping up with. Between jogging and pounding away at a heavy bag for hours, indeed, he will remain quite content to dance about a room with a sword in flourish and demonstration for an exceeding large amount of time.
OOC (Oh god, it's going to be one of those)
Yeah, it will, because unfortunately, certain players force me to put up these sorts of things so I don't send someone off in tears or something like that. So, I'll start off strong.
I don't give a damn how ultra-pred you are. I really do not. Not willing to accept even the
possibility that your character may be perceived as prey by my own, or violently perturbed by the idea of the absence of vore or sex from a roleplay entirely? Have a nice day, sir, madam, whatever. Close the profile.
I do try not to discriminate in general, though I find myself becoming hypocritical. I don't care if you're human or fur, plant or Pokemon, do as you please. I only have a slight problem with straight up fan characters, but hey, if you got it, you got it. I discriminate against discriminators, and people who are so very close minded that they fail to accept any possible alternative or compromise to their precious world that they'd developed to live in separate from our own, where males simply don't exist, or humans are miraculously avoid. Where digestion is a thing of the past, and where sex and pain are entirely negligible factors of the world.
For that, I do apologize that I expect my roleplay partner to perceive the world we've constructed from our imaginations to interact in such a manner that borders between fantasy and reality where anything is possible, but some basic principles remain embraced.
...
Let me focus my complaints. Above is one I have yet to compress into a simple, effective request, so it will remain rant format until I can scale it into a reasonable state. Here's a list.
1: I'd like able to play my character to the best of my ability. That is to say, without any restrictions.
2: Addendum to 1: I tend to play out my roleplays by ear - ya know, with no set goal. I'm willing to discuss a setting, or even an idea, but the more focused the process of the roleplay, the less flexibility I have to give my character room to react as he would, not as its players would like to facilitate the desired outcome. In short, deciding how a roleplay will go beforehand to any degree will hamper my ability to play my character to a correlated degree.
4: I don't, ever, ever, need people telling me how to play my own character.
5: I love roleplaying, vore or not... but my curse is that I'm shy, and will rarely approach. If you're interested in me, feel free to drop me a whisper.
6: Vore... interesting. I am not into vore. As such, non vore based roleplays are as welcome, if not more so, than vorish scenes. Given this, in a by ear roleplay, I can't guarantee my character being predator or prey. Make no mistake, though, I will partake in the act should the event arise where it makes sense. Come on, this is a vore core chatroom, despite everything - I don't expect people to sympathize with my view here.
6: On the issue of post length. On average roleplay, I tend to give anywhere from 2-5 lines unless prompted to do otherwise. Give me a huge post, I'll respond accordingly. And vice versa for small posts. The only posts I can't handle are half a line posts, unceasing bad grammar, unceasing bad spelling, internet lingo, excessive emoticons in serious roleplays, and the player's inability to separate OOC and IC. Dear god, deliver me from people who fail to differentiate between themselves and their characters.
7: Powergaming, extremely powerful characters, is fine. Godmoding, dodging everything, all of your attacks hitting me without me getting a say in the manner, and more or less playing my character for me... can't do it.
8: I have no sliders because I don't give a fuck. Anything goes.
9: Do I have a messenger? *Sigh* Yes, yes I do. Can you have it? Depends on how well I know you. Fact of the matter is, I roleplay better on this chatroom than on messenger, so such a thing I usually only use to keep in contact with people. Please don't just come up to me and ask for it. I'll respond with no.
10: A lot of these rules are repetitive for good reason - to grind them into your skull as deeply as possible. I'm also tired, so if I'm repeating myself without actually knowing it, it's probably because I have strong feelings on the subject.
11.
Lastly, and
finally, let's not forget one very important fact (At least I hope it is). We're here to have fun! So please, let's enjoy ourselves! Yes, I have bitched a lot, but I've been around awhile, and this place has given me a mix of wonderful memories... and no shortage of material to bitch about. Still, at the end of the day, let's have a good fucking time! :D
