A young and naive boy barely at the age of adulthood, stood before the icey looking mage citadel. He clutched his gear close to him as a bitter cold blew harshly through the wind. He idly traversed the large bridge set out before him. As he made his way to a large ornate arcane scribed looking door, pushing it open and stumbling inside as it collapsed from the weight of his push, he made his way into a large opened courtyard and glanced around at all the people walking about. He was here Seeking an audience with the Dean of this prestigious mage's school, looking to enhance his spellbook knowledge as he was barely above novice level just below apprentice status. He looked to the people walking about the courtyard and coughed slightly to get one of the other mage's attention, He noticed a staff floating inside of a well of magic having a circle of stones laid around it. He sat down on the rock and leaned towards it. Attempting to grasp it. A blue spark came from the staff as he tettered over the edge and grasped at it! as he was falling into the pool of liquid in slow motion a portal was opened inside the well, and he fell into it, clutching the staff and disappearing from sight as all the other mages looked on at this specticle. one mage saying "he should be alright! im pretty sure hes a novice... He must of just teleported with the staff somewhere outside and should be back momentarily." The young adult landed in a nearby field, taking in his surrounds as he stood up with staff in hand. He noticed it was quiet, til he heard the faint sounds of booming off in the distance. "Where am i... He said." A tiny precocious little fairy girl floated up to the young boy and said. "Why your in the nexus of course! she said with a cheery smile" "What is the nexus? He responded. "Ohhh.. it's just a place where predator and prey alike come together to enact a thing called "Vore" She said." A large figure had waltzed into the immediate area, and noticed the young boy, stumbling with the fairy at his side as he ran in the other direction from the colossal figure as it persued him. The fairy shouted "Whats your name?! The boy yelled back. It's dante! he said as he ran with all his worth." "Welll.... Dante i hope you dont get digested by that colossal figure and fluttered away giggling." Dante screams as he is persued by the colossal giant into the night not wanting to be gurgled down by it's titanic stomach.
