On the outset Alicia can come across as a rather prideful and snobbish girl with an over-sized ego. Proud and haughty due to being Vampire and Princess both, she sees herself as naturally being above mortals and commoners alike. A lifetime and more of being told that you're better than the rest will do that to you. Her perceptions on (un)life and people both is certainly naive if not misguided, and such a sheltered life up until the present means she isn't the most tactful when dealing with others as equals. Or even sometimes as people.
Truthfully however she is little more than a paper tiger with much fluster, a lot of bark but lacking in "bite". Not literally of course, those fangs are still sharp! To those who earn either her trust or respect (a very hard task!) she can be pleasant enough to deal with, even to the extent of her being surprisingly affectionate. To those she deems both weaker and a lesser however, she won't fail to press any advantage she can!
The Bellerose family has a long and shrouded history stretching back for generations. To most they are the Royal Household of a small mountain kingdom nestled in the far corner of the known world, prosperous and enduring. Of particular note is that the King, Queen and their children are immortal. Or more specifically, quite dead. Undead that is. They're Vampires! The King was always quite the fanciful alchemist and long studies and adventures in foreign lands eventually led him to the secret of eternal life...though it wasn't quite what he was expecting with more than a few drawbacks, including an unquenchable thirst for blood. Not wishing to be alone, he convinced the rest of his family to drink the same potion, transforming them into Vampires also. Which leads us to the present.
This particular strain of Vampirism is not unlike any other though it has a few differences. Sunlight does not kill, but extremely bright lights can be agonising and fire and burns can do serious damage to an otherwise robust creature. Contrary to popular belief, garlics don't do anything at all except leave a rather bad taste in ones mouth. It is possible to be embraced by Alicia, but it involves more than her drinking ones blood. Rather the person to be turned has to drink her blood.
An alternative setting would be much the same, but rather than being royalty she could simply be the daughter of a noble family. For modern day scenarios she would simply be the daughter of a partiularly wealthy family blending in to modern society.

Alicia takes on a new maid who doesn't quite know what they're in for serving this bratty Vampire. Cue shenanigans. This scenario can take on many fun dynamics, especially if the maid is disgruntled with Alicia's behaviour and they constantly try to one-up each other.
