Zurax did not come into being through natural origins, instead he was the spawn of a fortunate accident during a malicious mercenary raid on a freight vessel in deep space, the ship was transporting a strange new substance mined and siphoned from an uncharted world, a deep black liquid that contained trace amounts of mineral metal and was thought to possibly be usable as an energy source, this information was tipped off to an infamous pirate gang, the ship was hit with a devastating blast from a forward battery assault, the crew were not properly armed for this level of invasion meaning it was a massacre.

A young dragon by the name of Aaronn Sunderr managed to evade the pirates long enough, fleeing into the cargo hold before being trapped and surrounded, the merc group showed no mercy, blasting the dragon with hot metal released from their weapons, his body burned and bleeding, the dragon toppled over the guard rail and fell down into the vat of strange fluid, he was a dead as they get. Nothing happened in that fluid, no reaction to the flesh now encased within it's thick black darkness. That was until another element was added.

The ship had taken severe damage, gas pipes around began exploding causing the ship to quake and rumble, one of the mercs stumbled and lost a piece of gear, a mass accelerator designed for breaking open doors, it plummeted into the fluid and it's contents began seeping out, the fluid shifted, the elements from the mass core and the flesh began molding, breaking down, combining, and finnaly amidst the chaos ensuing above, something began to surface.

The fluid lost it's black color, now crystal clear like water apart from something in the center that was rising, soon enough the object exploded out of the water whilst letting out a soul shattering roar, some form of beast, two wings, large ears, a aquatic fin like spine, thick black oozing skin with yellow and blue markings. This was not the dragon they had murdered, nor was it the fluids will, this was a new being all together and it was pissed. The monster launched itself out at the mercs and decimated their numbers, tearing right through their armor, their weapons proved ineffective and each one was soon to be consumed by this bloodlust. The carnage halted, the remains of the battle was a slime dragon with a rather large belly, he waddled his way towards the docking bay and stole the pirates ship to make his escape from the exploding freighter, looking back as the S.S Zurax was reduced to shrapnel. Grinning as it's consciousness began filling up with all the information it would need to communicate, survive and thrive, he digested his meal and set off to find a world to settle on.






Abilities:

Zurax's body is made up of a thick substance that he's taken to calling Zuranite, the fluid is like average bio slime in a lot of ways but with some key differences...

. The Zuranite form can become as flexile as water or as solid as steel

. The Zuranite form can change color, increase in size or morph into a different shape.

. The Zuranite can be shared with people, those who are gifted the substance gain the same powers as Zurax


Resistences:

. Zuranite can withstand extreme heat and can pass the molten rock or metal without sustaining damage

. Zuranite is a conscious so if some is sliced off it will return to the host to the best of it's ability

Weaknesses:

. Zuranite does not do well in cold conditions and freezing it will cause Zurax to be come immobile

. Certain elements can cause intense reactions in the Zuranite form
