There comes a time when one sees need for a change...and a need Zira did see. So, being the lioness that she is...power obsessed, cynical, and somewhat evil...she decided to join a military with a vision that made sense to her.
'Peace through power,' she thought, 'that sounds like something I could get into.'
So she joined up...and through her years in the Tiberium wars, among other things, she has worked her way into being known as 'The Claws of Kane'. She has also worked her way to being one of the leading officers...and...oddly enough...one that Kane has made some not so tactical advances with...if you catch my meaning.
Granted, they aren't truly going anywhere....but...they are...friends with benefits, so to speak...and with both equally tyrannical and evil, it makes sense they'd get along well.
Either way, you will have to get to know her to see the rest.
