Basic Info

Zerox "Zee" Zygatto is a shapeshifting being and calls herself a Hexal Lifeform or Hexal Chimera interchangably. Easily identified between forms and changes by the black/white/green color scheme her body takes, as well as the ever-present hexagonal patterns on her limbs. She is able to freely shift her limbs for short periods, but takes a bit of concentration to shift species altogether or to become 'Big Zee' and 'smol zee', her Macro and micro forms respectively. There appears to be no need for internal organs or bones, as she frequently switches between having a typical inner physiology and being more or less gummy all the way on the inside with no issues, and often shouts "My bones are questionable and my organs are dubious!" before diving out the nearest window.



Backstory Stuff

When asked, "What are you?" Zerox will always respond with a bright grin and call herself "an excellent question". She isn't entirely sure what to call herself beyond a Hexal Chimera, which isn't so much of a species as it is what she sees herself, as no one in her family shares quite the same physiology as her, even her mother, another chimera. Regardless, when you grow up in a place where the physics seem to change in small ways with no real explanation, you learn to ignore the differences in your family. Zerox is vague at best when asked about her life growing up, and outright evasive at worst up until the years after she had completely moved out her hometown.

The truth is Zerox doesn't like to think about where she came from, as she was directly but unintentionally the cause for her entire home planet being removed from the universe and shunted off into a dimension intended to erode anything inside to nothingness. Created as a collaborative effort between cultists, scientists, and several questionable people of influence, Zerox was intended to be the perfect created being and was claimed to be in the image of the most powerful Goddess, her creators even insisting that their Goddess herself viewed the chimera favorably. Unfortunately, at the time this claim was made Zerox was buck naked and digging through a trashcan in the facility for bacon strips. The Goddess saw this as an insult of the highest degree and quite frankly an embarrassment to her image if anyone heard and believed the claims made by those who created her, and in a fit of petty fury tossed the planet into a chaotic void to hide and forget about. By pure luck, the dimension's chaotic energies instead influenced the planet to become a more adaptable and unpredictable place. Physics didn't work quite as expected, people could find their bodies changing without warning or pattern, and after an adjustment period the people renamed their planet Alne'Soma. This is short for Always, Never, Sometimes, Maybe; a vague but accurate description for how anything works and what your expectations should be of it. Eventually so much time had passed that the seemingly ageless chimera was the only remnant of the original people of Alne'Soma, and its bizarre nature was just an ordinary fact for the world. Another stroke of luck for the unusual planet came in the form of a lesser goddess who took pity on the poor chimera and her planet, giving them the means to sneak out of the pocket dimension and into the normal universe through constantly changing "doorways" between dimensions. While nearly the entirety of Alne'Soma prefers to stay where they are, there are the odd cases of residents moving out entirely or slipping back and forth between dimensions like Zerox.

Are your origins really as important as what you make of yourself? Zerox doesn't seem to think so, and it shows in her frequently changing appearance and bizarre resume of life choices. A former galactic federation wrestling star, a professional stamp licker, an enthusiast for training animals to do bizarre tricks like crabs to do laboratory experiments or sloths to become the perfect assassins, an avid ventilation system spelunker; with such a confusing list of hobbies and occupations, it can be easy to assume she's either crazy or full of hot air, but she isn't. Well the jury's out on not being crazy, but she isn't making it up.

Her crowning achievement, in her eyes, is the creation of her own criminal organization, the ZZ Gang which eventually became Zygatto Inc., although that name hardly covers what she drags her hapless minions/employees/family members into doing, like running a pizza franchise or marketing her own line of merchandise. Legitimate, Illegal, Confusing, Pointless, Profitable. It doesn't matter what she decides to do, you won't be stopping her from at least attempting to do it, and most likely trying to make it sexual somehow.



Personality Jazz

Chaotic, Zerox is almost comical in her reactions, such as being quick to over the top but nonsensical outbursts, crawling under furniture to avoid consequences she probably definitely deserves for pranks, and being flustered like a virgin college girl when lewdly bullied the right way. Lewd, she's always one to take the lewd road, making pervy puns and teasing freely. Loud, Zerox projects herself very openly and with an absurd amount of self-confidence, even when she feels like she's not quite as awesome as usual. She will stubbornly keep after someone until they like her, almost like a friendlier version of Stockholm Syndrome, really. Others have described her as a "wonderful chaotic lovely crazy person", an "unpredictable lunatic" and "hella weird, but funny".
