Demons, the denizens of the underworld, malfested evil beings with the sole purpose of corrupting and harvesting mortal souls from above. They come in many shapes and sizes, varying in power, simple imps to chaotic necromancers, vicious hellhounds to silent reapers, then there are the Archdemons.

Beings who exist on a power level above most of the lesser Demons, often known by name across the burning plains as they tend to hold the position of the 'Knights of Hell'. One such Archdemon is known as 'Zerion the Imperfect', titled such due to his striking resembelance to a Human despite his overwhelming infernal power.

Zerion had also earned this title the day he had betrayed his brothers and sisters, having drained another well respected general and his elite guard of their essence to power himself up. Demons might be evil creatures, but cannibalism amongst the infernal is strictly forbidden amongst the higher ranks due to potential paradigm shifts in the pecking order. In other words Zerion had become so disturbingly powerful from the ordeal that a new law had been made against him and he was banished to the 9th circle of Hell, susbended in a tomb of ice deep within Judecca, bound there for all eternity above Satan's chamber, or so he thought.

An outsider had stepped into this realm, a poet, guided by one of Hell's own through the depths, a mere whiff of a mortal soul was all it had taken, Zerion awakening to find enough strength to spliter the ice, mking his speedy escape, unnoticed by the visitor. Within but 42 hours the Archdemon had fought his way back up the 9 circles and had breached Limbo, entering our world, free to live as he saw fit, free to grow stronger.

Zerion is a greedy being, those with strong souls will draw him in with their scent, often seeking to toy with his prey, indulge in his primal lust and finally devour them, body and soul alike.
