Description
Appearance: Zeferen is a Caucasian male standing at 5 feet 10 inches. He has dark-brown hair that extends to his shoulders. He is usually seen wearing a pair of jeans and a light grey jacket, wearing a white t-shirt underneath it. Since he tends to bring his laptop and drawing supplies with him, he carries a backpack along.
Due to SPARTAN augmentation, he has a muscular build that shows his newly acquired strength.
Personality: Zeferen is the person who enjoys making friends, despite it sometimes getting him into trouble with the wrong people. He is open to ideas and opinions, not minding to think differently. He also enjoys bringing his own ideas out for others to use.
Do not be rude and snobby to him; while he is kind, he despises people who treat others like dirt. His hesitation is his second flaw; he considers all choices and tries to come up with the best decision that would not cause any effects, either to him or to others.
Bravery is good and bad to him. On one hand, he is relentless when it comes to getting to his goal. No matter what stands in his way, he always seeks to get through any obstacle if it prevents him from reaching his goal occasionally. However, he doubts that being brave was the right choice. Because of his tries at choosing the best alternative, he starts to believe that his bravery only brought doom on himself.
History
A Normal Life
Zeferen, born and raised in northern New Jersey, always enjoyed thinking up ideas. Since he was a child, he loved to be creative. He always expressed his ideas in a visual form, both on paper or on the computer screen. Combined with his interest for technology and the future, he never ran out of ideas.
His creativity, however, got him into trouble during high school. Kids joked about his ideas in many ways just to get on his nerves, driving him beyond his normal behavior His friends, on the other hand, enjoyed his ideas so much, that they contribute to them. Even his girlfriend, Alexis, enjoyed his ideas.
After he graduated high school, he went to the best technological college in the state. Enrolling and taking courses related to what he enjoyed doing, his primary major was Information Technology; it focused on networking and programming in general, but there were some courses related to game development overall. Although there were no courses that involved drawing and art, he made up for it by taking 3D modeling classes: the three-dimensional version of drawing. However, there was another roadblock preventing him from graduating; he had to take classes that did not involve his interests. While these classes were hard, he did not give up. His determination to carry out his dreams prevented him from dropping out of college.
He graduated college at age 22, getting a bachelor's degree in Information Technology alongside gaining the knowledge he needed to get a job in the game industry. He was another step closer to his supreme dream: bringing his ideas to life as a video game.
A Daring Discovery
Fate had other plans for him. With his girlfriend away until next year and with college done, the only task left for Zeferen to do is to receive job. Even with that in mind, he decided it would be best to take a much-deserved vacation in southern New Jersey. In late July, he was taking a hike in a national park when he noticed something odd. Someone was watching him; it looked human, but it had animalistic traits. Orange fur covered the creature, triangle shaped ears twitching at every sound. A canine muzzle with a black wet nose took up most of the creature’s face, a fluffy tail swaying behind it. Just as Zeferen noticed it, the creature bolted away into the woods. As much as Zeferen did not want to stray off the main path, his curiosity got the best of him.
Zeferen followed the creature deep into the forest, the creature trying to avoid the human that was chasing it. As he was chasing the creature, he noticed that it looked like an anthromorphic fox: an animal that can act and walk like a human being. After what seemed like hours, the creature finally disappeared from view. Zeferen found himself in the middle of the forest with no way back to the main path, with no directions. Thoughts ran through his head, blaming himself for chasing something that could be just a figment of his imagination.
After aimlessly trying to find a way out, he soon heard something. There were voices...laughter...talking...screaming...all signs of civilization. Zeferen did not care about possibilities at that moment; if someone was there, then they knew a way out of the forest. Listening to the sounds, he made his way to the source of the commotion. The sounds got louder with each step he took, until he finally got a glimpse of some form of civilization. It was civilization, a park to be exact, but it was nothing he saw in his entire life. Creatures of different variations populated the park, including human beings. Dragons, wolves, anthros, every creature one thought as fantasy was here in the flesh.
Hesitant, he asked around for where he was. The park, called Nexus Park, was an area where time and space converged, allowing every being to meet others and indulge in their fantasies. It confused Zeferen; how did he arrive, and how would he get back home?
He going to panic when a friendly fox told him there would always a way back. "Just by exiting the park, anyone would arrive in their reality," he said. He mentioned some exceptions, but the fox was sure that Zeferen could return home. He also suggested that Zeferen should make a map just so he can return to the park whenever he pleases.
Zeferen thought of all the rewards that he would gain by exploring the park. But certain creatures in the park enjoyed eating others. The fox explained in advance about the park catering to creatures and beings who loved to eat and get eaten. Zeferen was going to reconsider, but the fox reassured him. "Not all predators enjoy digesting their meals, but most do," the fox explained. "There is a way to survive being eaten and digested; you just need to find it."
Zeferen was taking risks, but the pros outweighed the cons if he succeeded.
Besides, nothing ventured nothing gained. He tried new experiences, even though he thought of the negative results, and in the end, he benefited more from it. This was a new experience, and he challenged every part.
Current Events
Just recently, Zeferen encountered TwoOneNine, someone who he previously thought was just fiction. It was a rough meeting, the SPARTAN thinking he was just a weak recruit, but he convinced the SPARTAN otherwise (whom was thankful he was wrong). After a short conversation, 219 offered Zeferen a position as a SPARTAN IV. Zeferen quickly jumped at it after some hesitation, thinking that the pros outweighed the cons.
To further train Zeferen, he was tasked with heading through a dimensional gateway into the Valley of Peace. There, he met LianaKavona, commonly called Tigress, who has been expecting the spartan's request for training. Being accepted into the Jade Temple, Zeferen, with the help of Liana, acquired a new form to use while in the dimension and such, becoming a falcon (Just wings, to keep into the Kung Fu Panda setting). In this form, he dons the name Shan-lee, to further fit in.
Alongside living in the Valley of Peace, Zeferen is currently stationed on the Infinity class warship known as the Continuum as it is getting its final parts installed. Thanks to Zeferen's testings of the upgraded Slipspace technology found by ONI, the Continuum will be outfitted with a new inter-dimensional slipspace drive to allow it to transverse dimensions as well as normal slipspace. The UNSC also expanded their forces into the Valley of Peace to safeguard it from potential inter-dimensional threats, as ONI predicted such threats exist. Liana was recruited into the UNSC as a result.
Zeferen was changed into a female anthro latias by Susan_Parker, making him her twin sister alongside Nanamiko. Although this form seems switchable, it just happens at random.
Secondly, Zeferen gained an Agumon form during his trip into the Digital World, with help from LiebeRenamon. While he looks like a regular Agumon in this form, Zeferen, instead of digivolving to a Greymon, can digivolve into GeoGreymon, RizeGreymon, alongside being able to digivolve into VictoryGreymon or ShineGreymon depending on the situation. Zeferen can only access his digimon form in the real world via his own digivice though, which limits him as without it he cannot access these forms while not in the digital world.
