"Huh, wha? Oh sorry, I wasn't listening."

Zara is a superstar!...in high school track. But that's just a semantic. Right now, the world is in her hands. Seventeen, cute as can be, and attractively athletic; she garners her fair share of attention around town and the school campus. She's been doing track and field since her freshman year and now she's just starting her senior and is definitely the star member. While not settings records, she is putting up the top times currently and already lead the team to victories over several other schools this season. It's no biggie. She's just a natural (or so she says anyway). This has lead to her being quite popular with both the other girls and the boys, which is aided by her cute looks. She still hasn't seem to be able to grow out of that button nose, after all. She's no slouch in the classroom either. While her grades aren't perfect, she isn't one of those athletes that just bombs in her classes and tries to coast by on her athletic achievements. She's friendly, and outgoing, not one to talk down to others. Is she perfect? No. But she does try to make sure she doesn't completely let her current stardom go to head. Well....maybe a little.

It would be a lie to say she hasn't used her status to get things here or there. Free drinks, movie tickets, dates she didn't really want to go on, but included entry to amusement park...that kind of thing. It also has its perks of teachers not being as harsh if she's late to class or on an assignment, though she doesn't really try to take advantage of this. Zara would be hard-pressed to notice it happens though. There have been some students that come to resent her and the seemingly constant praise she gets. At least they haven't put up some kind of billboard of her up in town. Yet.

Physically, she's nothing too special. 5'7" with a mostly slender frame, and athletic musculature. Her Irish red hair is more muted, brownish red than the catholic girls in town, and despite her very pale skin, she's managed to avoid big piles of freckles. When spotted around town, she is often jogging, or in her own little world. She likes to run to keep her conditioning up, so when not going out on dates or doing schoolwork/track meets, she's in the park, jogging laps, or taking a walk down to the corner store for some juice and snacks.
