Zan

A young boy, by all accounts human, standing at a grand height of around three feet and ten inches; he's rather short, even for a nine year old. He has a pleasant face, usually set in a crooked, half-there smile. His bright purple eyes constantly look towards the ground, trying not to catch anyone's attention, while his black hair falls down over his forehead and seems as though it's trying to hide his face.

Little Alexander is the illegitemate son of Baroness d'Chumleigh, the 'owner' of a rather large estate. Kept inside most of his life and abused rather harshly by his mother, little Zan is rather unused to people. Unfortunately for him, he's recently been abandoned in a strange city, and left to fend for himself.

He wears clothes that don't seem to fit him very well, and have been washed so many times the soft, egg-blue has faded to almost white. His hands are constantly obscured by his overlong sleeves, but were someone to remove said sleeves, they'd see a ring on his left hand; the only thing to remind him of his (supposedly) noble lineage.

As he was abused, tortured and generally used as if he were part of the furniture (sometimes quite literally), Zan has a very submissive nature. While he doesn't like pain, or humiliation, he associates them with affection, and is very likely to come running back to anyone who hurts him. Naturally, this gets him into lots of trouble, but he always seems to bounce back. He heals fast, almost supernaturally so, and has a rather high tolerance for pain.

Zan's blood has strong restorative properties; if used in blood transfusion, it is very likely that the patient will make a full recovery, no matter what their blood type is. The same cannot be said for vampires; if they were to drink Zan's blood, they would find it's almost as damaging to their digestive systems as holy water.


Update: Zan has spent a few months training. As such, he's becoming marginally more powerful than before: demons beware!
