Z_Parasite

The Z Parasite is a semi-organic nano weapon designed by the Kartezieen invaders. One of the first creations that ultimate lead to them becoming what they are today, it's basic function is to change and alter matter into more desired components. This often being the building blocks for the Drones and the Scarabs that are the most common form of the Kartezieen.

The parasite itself though, is also capable of possessing a larger shell. But does not possess the strength to overcome the free will of a sentient lifeforms. Altering and changing their form is far within its capabilities though. And when it has come into the control of a large vessel, it will use it to find more materials and drag it back to the hive that is being constructed. Often providing the very base for the construction of a Drone Queen.

The subdual of organic components are also one of the primary uses of a shell, by changing the shell to be more battle functioning, adding armour, tentacles and other means of combat and restrain. It will hunt, ensnare, and capture victims to become parts or substance for the coming Kartezieens.
