Yoyo
Yoyo Gumoi is a Harpy Boy.. specifically, an Owl Harpy. While Harpy Boys are not a naturally-occuring phenomenon, as almost all Harpies are females who mate with the males of other species to create still more Harpies, Yoyo was a special case. An offspring of an Owl Spirit who impregnated a Harpy in a passing one-night stand, he was born the very first male in the history of his entire clan. Some saw him as a bad omen, and yet others saw him as a blessing-- a male of their own to breed with! Even more believed that breeding with a male from their very own clan would only strengthen the children produced. Unfortunately, this caused infighting among the clan's Harpies-- between those who still saw him as a bad omen, and between those who wanted to be Yoyo's personal mate-- and realizing the trouble he brought on his family, Yoyo snuck away into the night, fleeing his many amorous sisters. Still feeling the need to mate and to feed, he followed scattered rumors and directions to Eka's Park, seeking a hunting ground for potential mates and food.
Visually, Yoyo takes the appearance of a young, teenage boy, despite being the ripe age of 19, which is the age to first start mating in his clan. His younger appearance is perhaps attributed to his femininity, looking rather cute and girlish with small, pursed lips, smooth, perfect white skin, and silky black hair. Even his plumage is a powdery pinkish color-- or at least the top half is. The bottom half of his plumage is a midnight black, much like the feathers that his father, the Owl Spirit, bore. His body is slender, with long, strong legs and a taut buttocks, retaining something of a swimmer's build (although, obviously, for the sake of flying). The Harpy Boy stands at a reasonable height of 5'7", and is a lean 136 lbs in weight. He can make slight alterations to his appearance, such as retracting his wings into normal, human arms, or changing the colors of his upper plumage to midnight black, making it easier to hunt stealthily at night. He can extend and retract the claws on his feet.
The Harpy Boy is quite a nice lad, despite his natural disposition as a predator. He's kind and outgoing, very light-spirited, and flirty-- oh, very flirty. The young Harpy is always looking to roll around and cuddle, or make out, or fuck, if somebody else is willing. And it certainly seems people are. Yoyo is under the impression that everybody is nearly as flirty and friendly as he is, but the truth is that he actually has a latent Harpy ability that he's not quite aware of. Yoyo's voice retains a hypnotic quality to it that, when he's aroused, activates and sends subtle waves to his prey's brain, stimulating them; making them want to be closer to Yoyo, feeling attracted to Yoyo. As nice as the young Harpy is, he might actually feel bad about people falling under his voice's intoxicating spell, but he remains blissfully unaware of it's effect or potency; all he knows is that people seem naturally charmed by him, and he enjoys their willing company! Enough time spent with him, listening to him whisper in their ear, will eventually have even the most strong-willed prey eager to romp with him or crawl into his mouth, if he asks them.
Yoyo also has the natural ability of flight, although that should go without saying. He can fly at incredible speeds through the air, and the strength of his legs, as well as the pincer-like vice grip of his feet, allows him to scoop unsuspecting prey up from the ground if given chase. Unlike his Harpy sisters and the rest of their clan, however, he also shares the blood of the Owl Spirit, which grants him some other unique gifts, like perfect nightvision. His eyes can see with perfect clarity in the dark, and his head- albeit something that his family considered creepy, and urged him not to do in front of them- can turn a perfect 180 degrees, allowing the Owl Harpy to see behind him. The Spirit's magic runs through his veins, although Yoyo is not entirely aware of his magical gifts yet; aside from his naturally hypnotic voice, which is a trait among Harpies, the Spirit grants him the ability to drain prey's souls, an alternate method of feeding from those he captures. He may also change shape and size at will, and perhaps gender, but his only use of this ability so far has been for retracting his wingspan. A defense mechanism that Yoyo discovered some years ago was the ability to release a high-pitched screech which stuns potential predators, should he be captured against his will.
