Pompous, demanding, merciless, downright voracious. All of these words and more have been used to describe the usual food critic. Usually by owners of eating establishments that failed to meet expectations. But food critics have to be fair and not hold back for the sake of public health and safety.
...Now, while public health and safety is still on her agenda, this lady right here manages to be even more ruthless than the average critic. Some say it might be because she has extremely refined taste buds. Some say it's because she's encouraging the establishments to improve their recipes. ...Others take a look at that big, round gut of hers and deduce that maybe, just maybe, she's just a glutton that applies stricter judging just to squeeze more food out of restaurants.
Whatever her motivation, when Yayoi comes around to judge your place, you'd better be prepared. But a word of advice. If you want her to go easier on you, she has quite the sweet tooth. Some tasty treats will more than likely cause her to bump your grade up. ...Just hope she gives you a decent grade to start with.
