Yaiba is a nineteen year old researcher whose goal is to document and study as many beings as she can, for reasons that even cannot explain fully. Her primary answer would be, "because I fell like it". While this tend to get her into difficult situations, for she literally wants to know everything about someone she studies, inside and out, she usually comes out benefiting from the experience as she has always learned something new from it. And that is all she cares about; learning.

Her only possession is a nameless katana, a family heirloom and only memory of her home. Without it she would feel weak and defenseless, even though she can do very little with it. Despite this, she never lets it leave her side.

Very quiet in nature, she is very bold and open. She has no boundaries and finds it strange when people get nervous as she prods and poke into theirs. If she is told to stop, however, she will. She is more interested in making friends and building long lasting relationships, as she feels it aides her research, though she is never satisfied for long.
