Overview:
It's a tough world out there, as any micro would know; tough to get food, tough to avoid being food. However, this is a lesson that Xu is only beginning to learn as Xu is relatively new to the world. She was once part of a much larger goo. However, that creature was frozen and taken away for study. Xu came into this world when a piece of that frozen goo was knocked off as it was being loaded into a truck. By the time that fragment eventually thawed, the main mass was much to far away to maintain the psychic link and thus, Xu came into being. She retains the intelligence and even the personality of her originator, but lacks any of her memories.

Xu is a good little slime-chan who tries to look on the brighter side of things. She tends to be shy when meeting new people but is rather playful once she gets to know someone. Being so small, Xu does realize that she's at a disadvantage with most things. However, being a goo means that survival is fairly simple:
find food, find water, and avoid becoming food.

Personality:
Xu is a bit naive and perhaps a bit too trusting once she gets comfortable around someone. For most the part, strangers make her shy; violent ones do tend to make her a bit nervous. Lacking any memories from before thawing out she is uncomfortable discussing the past, her's or anyone else's for that matter. As a goo, there are certain concepts which tend to escape her fluid mind. Things such as physical modesty, propriety, fashion, pain, sarcasm, and regret are alien concepts to her. She also has an aversion to extreme heat and cold for obvious reasons. She's a laid back and fun-loving slime who loves to sing and would much rather make friends than fight. Never one to hold a grudge it's rare for her to act out of anger. Xu also enjoys stories, especially those about adventures in far away places; and while she can't read, she loves to look at picture books. Lastly, this lovable little puddle of joy is absolutely fascinated with all things shiny. Give her a piece of costume jewlery, a shiny bauble, a simple coin, or even a worthless little piece of metal and you've made a friend for life.

Diet and Vore:
Main Diet:
Being a goo/slime, Xu technically tastes, smells, and eats through her "skin." Also, due to her nature, Xu's only two concerns are finding water, and locating organic matter. However, her favorite kind of organic matter is animal protein, meat in particular. Being so small however, generally makes it difficult to do any effective hunting. And larger creatures may very well try to eat her instead. To avoid being on the menu herself, and get food at the same time, Xu will often try to ttempt to negotiate some sort of mutual arrangement between herself and would predators. These terms often involve not eating her in exchange for her doing some manner of service, typically either sexual in nature or some limited form of hygene. That can be anything from removing fleas and other parasites to doing things like exfoliating dead skin or dissolving any unwanted hair. She might also agree to do something more practical like cleaning the dishes. If she feels safe around an individual, she might instead ask for any scraps from the table or from someone's plate.

As a predator:
Indeed, Xu is relatively passive and would only be a concern to other micros no more than two or three times her own size. This means creatures no larger than 16in. tall and weighing only a few pounds. Fellow micros be forewarned: while Xu is a loyal, fun-loving, and kind friend; she gets just as much joy out of food and often equates "friend" and "food" to be one and the same. Xu bears no malice to those whom she consumes. Micro strangers are eaten as a simple act nature;and on the odd occasion a micro friend is consumed, Xu simply assumes that as her friend, you'd be happy to help her out and make her feel better.

As prey:
Again, being small has it's problems, this includes being on the menu for things much larger than Xu. Lacking experience means that Xu can be easily decieved into making herself vulnerable to being eaten; and with her fresh wintergreen flavor, she's the perfect snack to clear up that bad breath from a pred's previous meal, or the perfect secret ingredient in the latest culinary creation. She is a very unwilling meal who defend herself to the last, but if caught offgaurd, she's easy picking. In her natural state, she's sticky like caramel, but also chewy like a gummi candy.

A note about Digestion
While the player's preferences are for soft vore and gentle treatment, feel free to chew this goo-gal as much as you like or even chop her up and/or throw her in a blender/food processor/mixer; she feel's no pain and is indigestable. While you technically can't hurt Xu by eating her, she is unwilling because she finds the whole ordeal rather traumatic. Being squished and chewed, pounded out with a tenderizer, or spun in a blender, ...ect is an extremely disorienting and bewildering experience. And while stomach acids can do her no harm, since she tastes through her skin, the effect is nausiating and unpleasant. If being subjected to a "full tour," please note the player has a very strong aversion to scat. As this is the case, Xu will completely avoid the lower intestines by allowing herself to drawn through the small intestinal wall, into the bloodstream to be filtered out by the kidneys. Xu's eventual escape will be out through the urethra. The result being that her color will be darkened to a forest green by the ammonia and she will find all food unpallatable until she can purge herself of the ammonia by submerging in some relatively clean water. (In laymen's terms, this means you piss her out) Post vore urination is also the only circumstance underwhich watersports are acceptable. Also, any nutrients a predator might recieve from eating Xu are a result of
Xu's own most recent meal.

Abilities and Other Notes:
Indigestability: Simply put, swallowing Xu will not result in her death. It will make her very upset and not want to be near you for a while, but she'll eventually forgive you and forget the whole thing happened...as long as you were nice about it.

Mercy: Xu's substance has a powerful narcotic effect and numbs pain much like morphine. This tends to limit or atleast reduce how frantic the stuggles are of any rare actual prey. This tend to make victems experience a euphoric sensation rather than the agony of being dissovled an absorbed.

Painless: Xu has no central nervous system and is therefore unable to perceive or experience pain. She is however quite able to perceive pressure, temperature, sound, light, taste, scent, the passage of time, and the sensation of motion.

Shape Change: All goos/slimes are able to change and adjust their shapes and consistencies at will, some just better than others. As Xu has no previous memories her current skill level with this is pretty low. As such, she can only make basic geometric shapes at this time. This does however take a certain minimal amount of concentration and so if taken by surprise, Xu will be unable to escape or defend her by these methods for as long as she is confused or disorriented; making her relatively helpless until she can recover.

Variable PH: Xu can control her own acidity at all times and can be as mild as water or as causitc as ammonia or hydrochloric acid. This is so that not everything she touches is immediately dissolved, as well as enable her being subject to any number of liquids that might be harmful otherwise.

Exothermic: Xu has no means of maintaining her own temperature. When placed in any environment for a long enough time, she will eventually have the same ambient temperature as her surroundings. It takes 72 seconds for her mass to acclimate for every degree of difference Fahrenheit. To put it another way, if Xu enters a room which is 10 degrees warmer or colder than the previous room, it will take her mass roughly 12 minutes to become the same temperature as the room.

Psychic Recombination: Put her in the freezer, smash her into a milllion pieces and scatter them; or mix her into a cake batter and feed her to your friends. Once Xu recovers from the ordeal, all her pieces, no matter how small, will gather themselves together until she is whole again. That is of course, provided that no one piece is further away than 1km from it's nearest neighbor. Outside that range, the pieces become independant entities; much like how Xu became seperate from the original goo to which she belonged.

Fire/Burning: All goos, and Xu is no exception, are afraid of fire and of anything that burns them. This is because fire and the act of burning is a chemical change which alters a slime's very substance, causing permanent damage. Fire and burning is the only universally effective way to kill a goo.

Thermal Sensitivity: Goos and slimes, by their very nature are subject to the effects of temperature upon their mass. Therefore it should be noted how different temperatures effect Xu and her abilities. There are three general rules to remember: 1- The colder it is, the easier it becomes to hold a given shape but the harder to it is to move; and 2- The warmer it is, the easier it is to move, but the harder it becomes to hold a given shape, and 3- At temperatures over 94 degrees F, Xu starts to run the risk of dehydration and drying out. The other thing to note regarding temperature is that with extreme cold there is the danger of freezing, while with extreme heat there is the danger of dehydration and burning. The following temperatures and their effects on Xu should be noted specifically: At 115 degrees Fahrenheit, Xu loses nearly all cohesion. This means that while she is extremely slippery and quick moving, Xu is unable to hold any given shape for many than a second or two at a time. She is at this point little more than a moving, thinking puddle with the consistancy of a light syrup. Once Xu's mass reaches a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit, she loses all adhesion. This means that she is unable to to change her shape, and that her mobility is limited by whatever shape she happens to be in. Her mass at this temperature is much like slightly old gelatin; it is also worth mentioning that while in this state, Xu is unable to feed or absorb moisture. Lastly, if Xu's mass ever reaches a temperature of 18 degrees Farenheit or less, she will freeze solid.

Dormancy: Xu has three states of dormancy, as do all goos and slimes. The most commonly seen state of dormancy is when a goo is frozen solid. They are unconcious and completely unaware of their surroundings when frozen and remain that way until given a chance to thaw. A second state of dormancy occurs when a goo has dried out due to heat and lack of moisture, they shrivel up and become rubbery like an eraser. In this state, just like when frozen, the goo in question is unconcious and completely un aware. Again, they will stay in this condition until they are able to absorb a sufficient amount of fluids. The third and rarely seen state of dormancy occurs once every few days. This is a best described as a kind of "sleep" for goos. Because hold any kind of shape requires both a certaint of concentration and energy, goos and slimes require a period of rest from time to time. They will generally seek someplace sheltered and that can adequately contain their volume. Most often this requires dissolving a pocket into a rock or finding a large enough container abandoned somewhere. Once the goo feels safe enough, they will gather themselves into their selected shelter simply collapse into a liquid. this period of dormancy can last anywhere from a few hours to a full day depending on how long ago they had an opportunity to rest. While in this state, Xu is concious, however she is only vaguely away of the surrounding environment. Basically while resting like this, Xu is only aware of the most obvious dangers and attempts to communicate with her.

OOC Notes:
Player is of age. I will always be IC unless you are whispering questions about the character. I will only be pred to other micros, and only on occasion. I enjoy the idea of her being taken advantage of because of her size. Especially being used as a means of sexual gratification or as part of some kind of dish. Go ahead and throw her into your food or eat her just as is by some means of trickery. Feel free to get creative in how you decieve or manipulate her. A note on transformation, Xu can change shape, she does not actually become other objects or creatures, she mearly mimics their shape. For instance, if she were to turn into a mouse, she would be a green colored, semi-transparent mouse made of goo; she doesn't grow fur or whiskers, she mearly resembles a mouse. While I prefer more verbose posting, I will post in kind with whom ever I happen to be playing with. Also, I am not the fastest typest so sometimes I can take a while to post something If I have alot to say. While I enjoy quick one-shots as much as the next person, I really enjoy longer storylines and character interaction. Don't be afraid to whisper and ask questions or introduce yourself. I will tend to be IC, feel free to introduce yourself ICly as well. While I have no problem with you reforming, even right in front of me; remember that I have no way of actually reforming anyone myself.
