Xanatos's History

Xanatos comes from a land where any sort of magical energies or powers are looked upon with disgust. The world itself is sort of medieval, almost in a Dark Souls type of way. But the world had somewhat advanced technology for its age, not in terms of modern style, no. This world was almost a mix of the future and medieval design, having armor, blades, crossbows, etc. There were many races, and many monarch led kingdoms. There are few who practice magic or have powers in secret, yet to some... these abilities are a curse. One day when Xanatos was ten, Xanatos wronged a man who was seemingly whimsical in his attitude. The boy had seen the man use magic and, due to his childish, gullible nature, threatened to report him to the local town. The man dropped the whimsical attitude and told the boy that he didn't understand what people like him went through, and had an idea. He pointed a finger at Xanatos and began channeling energy into the boy's body, arcane energy. The energy built up in his body, and forever changed his forearms and hands into the sigils of this curse. Xanatos was then told that he could now run home and reveal the 'monstrosity' he has become and learn what people like him went through for what they had naturally before disappearing. Distraught, Xanatos did return home, and was soon found out. He was disowned and run out of town, now forced to travel the land while attempting to truly utilize his abilities.

Three years later, Xanatos is somewhat proficient in the use of his arms and has picked up a few skills utilizing them, let alone martial arts. He still travels, still seeking a way to redeem special abilities to his own people after seeing the change. Xanatos still has not come across the man that bestowed his curse upon him.

At times, it can be said that there are voices that speak from the force of raw mana, entities. Xana has a mix of fear and curiosity when voices come to him, but these situations are rare.

Physical Description

Xanatos is a somewhat short boy at the age of thirteen. His hair color is slightly light brown, his eyes a light blue with a sort of magical glow to them, especially in the dark, and his skin is white, but with a very slight pale tinge. As for clothes, he wears leather armor boots, cloth trousers with a black belt utilizing a simple buckle. His clothes are black, spare for his scarf which is a pale grey-blue color alongside the little gems on his boots. His wrappings on the other hand are more on the dark grey side, the runes inscribed on them a pitch black, but when using his abilities they'll glow a bright white with blue edging. Under his wraps, his forearms and hands have been entirely transformed by the curse to be practical energy constructs made of condensed particles, but made to feel like flesh when not morphed. The color is a bright white with a blue outline, though due to the particle effects it can be a little... odd at times.

Personality

Personality wise, Xana is still somewhat of an upbeat kid when he wants to be, but after having obtained the powers he has and having to be a victim of how his world treats people with any sort of magical ability, he has grown to be a bit more serious, mainly when the need arises. He holds no hatred for the man that gave him his curse and usually has a wild curiosity about things now which could lead him into some trouble, that he usually tries to escape using his own abilities.
