Wolfram War. Adventurer. Scholar. Not necessarily a Gentleman, but mostly because he doesn't see the point of certain things, and can't be arsed. All his working life, Wolf's been living the dream, as far as adventuring goes. He finds old, dangerous places, full of dangerous things, and he picks them CLEAN. ... though, perhaps, someone should have told him what treasure is, before he got started, because all the stuff he takes is the really dangerous shit, which others would kill, or discard. Cursed items, guardian daemons and monsters, that sort of thing. It all gets taken, and.... catalogued.
Which, really, is a more apt way of describing what he does than one might think. See, Wolf's a book mage. His power lets him enter books, pull things FROM books, and put things INTO books. Think of it as limited dimension manipulation, through paper and ink. It's not quite the same, but it's accurate enough for most to wrap their heads around it. He can fit as many things into a book as he can fit lines of text. A book of LISTS, well, he can fit hundreds of thousands of things in, depending on the thickness and how neatly he writes!
Anyway, I digress. Wolf, here, is an adventurer. As mentioned, he goes into places, and he pulls out nasty guardian beasties, likely trapped there for ages, and takes them with him. HOrrible cursed items, which would do nasty things in any hands, or especially nasty things in the wrong(or right?) hands, are likewise snatched up. He tucks them all away in particular books, which he stores in a book of lists, naming all the books he has in it after a brief description of the location the books reside in. Monsters get tucked away in places designed for them, described in the book they find themselves in, and... well, generally they seem pretty content.
In fact, so does Wolf. His job may be thankless, but it's... pleasant. It keeps him busy, as well! He gets to go places, meet and do things, and leave the world safer than when he found it, whilst also doing a service to history... or possibly a disservice, considering some adventurers. He only takes enough mundane treasure to keep going(Because while he may be able to draw gold into existence, or food, it's never the same), and generally keeps moving, never staying in one place for too long. Still, something must be going okay for him, because he's always smiling.
Cheerful, friendly, and polite(if not especially stuck-up about it, or about to put on airs), Wolf stands a full six feet and three inches tall, towering over many people, with long, blue hair, fair skin, and a persistent, pleasant smile set below a slightly beaky nose and warm, greenish-blue eyes. His ears, when visible beneath his hair, are slightly pointed, and pierced, once per ear, on the lobe. He tends to dress simply and comfortably, in plain brown trousers, a black tunic, and comfortable, well-travelled leather boots, whilst sporting a somewhat heavy leather satchel full of books at his side. There's no evidence of any weapons on his person, though he tends to keep a knife up one sleeve, and one in his boot, just in case.
Also, whilst he IS a book mage, he is NOT defenseless without a book. He CAN use some magics without any tools or other assistance, thoguh which, well, I'll leave unmentioned. After all, we MUST have SOME things to be discovered.
