You call me a failure. You call me sick, diseased, a mutant, a freak, a monster. Heh, from your point of view, I probably am. Not that it makes much difference. I take an understandably dim view on people who try to kill me for being what they make me. Goodbye, Doctor.
That sums it up pretty nicely, doesn't it? Certainly get his motives across nice and clear.
The result of a failed supersoldier program, Wind used to be an ordinary enough guy. He was military, one of the best sharpshooters they had, when they recruited him. He knew the risks... but he was loyal to his country, and agreed to go through with the procedure, knowing what may happen to him. At least, in theory... it's doubtful that anyone saw what happened to him coming.
It was a simple enough idea... take a smart, strong, capable soldier, and make him smarter, stronger, and more capable. Alter his brain, and the rest of his body....the question lay in HOW to do this. The answer they chose was a simple mutagen, with known effects... or rather, several simple mutagens.
The thing is... they worked a bit differently, together. These chemicals altered him... making him stronger, upping his reflexes by quite a bit, altering his brain.... making him capable of learning very, very quickly. The only thing is.. well, they altered his brain! So that didn't work out too well...
His personality changed, when he came out of the tank. he was... different. Less dedicated, apparently, and less... focused. Much more energetic, and a bit more of a wise-guy. But, you see... he was smart enough to hide HOW different he was. He went through the training program, leaning how to pilot all manner of machines and use all manner of tools and weapons. However... he slipped up.
Everyone does, sooner or later, though, and he had an escape plan. When they sent the security team after him, he disabled them, as a warning... didn't kill a single one, though he did take their guns(a couple shotguns, a SMG or two, and some higher-caliber pistols) before he left... taking nothing more than his dogtags and a change of clothes with him.
And from there? Well, he's one of the most wanted men in the world. Preferably alive, for the supersoldier program to, well, reprogram, but it'd be safer to try to kill him. And, well... that's pretty much what they've been doing. He really doesn't seem to care so much for it, though... quite understandable, don't you think?
In any case... his moniker, Wind, is well-earned. He's godwful sneaky, for a guy who kinda stands out, what with the white hair. If he attacks, he's gone by the time anyone figures out where he'd attacked from... fighting him is like fighting the wind.
5'5, and a good deal stronger than he looks, with curly white hair and his own... personal style, that lets him hide guns or gun components easily, Wind isn't terribly impressive. Most of the time, these days, he's got a lazy, wise-guy kinda grin on his face, and apparently doesn't have a care in the world.
What all can he do? Guess.
Redo time. Go figure.
