Gardevoir Witch who is both a witch and a private detective. One definitely pays better than the other.

Appearance

Height: 5'10''
Weight: 155 Lbs (Usually)
Clothing: Usually a sweater, jeans, a few pieces of jewelry... Or sometimes she just goes nude. Garde-dresses and all that. Work outfit tends to change as well, based on mood from something out of a noir film, to a full on set of black robes... But the one thing she always has while working is the pointy hat.

Personality

Relatively easygoing when not on the job, Whitney tends to be relaxed and friendly. She'll usually be found reading a book (Often noir novels), catching up on local news, or even writing down notes for various magical things she wants to try. Generally speaking she's very good with her psychic and empathic abilities, but Whitney does try to better herself on the magic side of things, and has been showing a slow but steady improvement~ She's pretty quick to offer aid to others, but makes no secret that she expects to be paid for any significant work and has a tendency to take whatever she pleases if she gets shorted on her reward.

Abilities and powers

Innate Gardevoir Things: Empathic power, emotional influence/control, a bit of hypnosis, psychic powers and a general connection to magic. Pretty much what you'd expect from being a Gardevoir

Magic: Tends to be low power and very ritual focused. Things like tracking a person based on a strand of hair or finding a lost objects as well as a few minor summoning circles. She does also have minor

Brewing: Whitney can concoct a fair number of potions using ingredients. Favorite includes 'love' potions (which tend to be more of a short-lasting infaturation rather than actual love) and sleeping potions (which she's been able to develop into an aerosol form to just spritz at people.)

Background

Whitney Magical Consulting and Investigations. Not the most innovative name for a business, but it's one that leaves little to doubt as to what she does. Whitney's been in the business for about three years so far, and has a decent number of happy former clients... along with a smaller but still significant amount of unhappy ones but they're hardly worth mentioning. Whitney grew up on a mix of fairy tales, Sherlock Holmes books, detective films, and crime TV shows, so ever since she was just a little Ralts, she wanted to be either a magician or a detective like so many of the fictional characters she idolized... eventually deciding that she could easily combine the two with enough effort. After she finished her college degree and a few shadier online courses to teach basic magical theory, and earned her license to be a private investigator, however, the reality of it all was more than a bit disillusioning. Nonetheless, she still enjoys the small problems that average folks come to her with and does end up solving most of what she's able to... and exercises just a little bit of vigilante justice on the few real scumbags she comes across. After all, if she solves a problem, she might as well solve it permanently~
