A white mage of great power, she was once part of an exploration to find a relic of the ancients. During the middle of the exploration, her team was attacked, and yet they were so close to the artifact. It looked like they were on the losing end, and Tara figured if she could just get hold of it, she would be able to turn the tides. She abandoned her team.

The relic was a gem filled with the soul of a great sorcerer, and as soon as she touched it, it attached to her chest, becoming part of her body. However, with what little senteince it had, it cursed her for abandoning her friends, preventing her from entering cities again, and forcing her to wander. It's powerful magics continue to heal her, but... is there a limit perhaps?

Due to this, Tara has been the play thing of more creatures than she could imagine. But getting digested hurts! She reforms nearby after death, her previous body left behind. However... sometimes that means she gets eaten multiple times! Or a predator gets creative with her regeneration...

Tara isn't always the unwilling one though. Sometimes she's actively seeking death. She has been alive for hundreds of years as she is, and the prospect of death excites her. If a creature is gentle, she might even enjoy it.

(Also, player is not looking for anyone to 'fix' her status or progress that. IC I want her to keep looking for a 'cure' for life.)
