Freya a young lass from an old time who has been a bit...pulled out of order. Where at one time she had merely been a server of mead and beer to lusty viking warriors and a possible bed-warmer, something had happened one day that had changed all that. One day she had met a man with a golden mug and like every other took it so that fill it with mead, but this time was different...the farther and farther away from the man she got the more Freya wanted it for herself and once he became distracted by a small brawl she fled out into the cold with her new treasure. Confident that he'd never know what had happened to her until...well she woke up to find him standing over her, arms crossed and a scowl on his face. In a moment his glamour was cast aside and Freya found herself trembling before Odin, the All-Father, himself and pleading for his mercy, not knowing what she had tried to do.
Freya was forgiven...in a fashion. Odin told her that since she wanted the Mug so much that she could keep it, but in return she could never again be with the people of this time ever again. Against her own will she fell asleep...and woke up in the Park. A bizarre new place, Freya nonetheless decided to embrace her punishment and make a new life for her in this place, away from the wrath of the All-Father and her previous existence as nothing but a bringer of mead. Of course she still brings the golden mug with, even uses to drink from herself or to serve others their drinks, but she's slowly discovering that the mug, and herself, have more to it then meets the eye.
For one, as long as she's holding onto it or 'owns' it, she's never once lost a drinking competition. Not even against creatures close to one hundred times her size, nor has such hard drinking had an effect on her liver. This is not to say that she doesn't get inebriated...but she never has to stop...from what's she has seen. Freya actually uses drinking challenges as a way to establish respect with somebody else, not to mention a chance for them to earn some respect from her, or to try and bargain her way out of a tight spot. It usually fails to work on somebody who has drunk against a second time. The mug also makes for an astoundingly good bashing tool for when somebody gets out of line and she feels a need correct them (And for all those demons and unholy things out there, yes the Mug counts as an extremely powerful holy tool due to it's long exposure to Odin). Freya also seems to be able to...will liquid substances into being, as long as it can fit inside of the mug and aren't TOO potent (Sorry, no elixer of life here), which has been handy though Freya grumpily tells people it's because the mug is trying to force her to become a barmaid again.
Note, anybody calling her 'grandma' or 'old' is sure as hell picking a fight with her, no matter how well-intentioned it might have been.
As for appearance Freya looks very much like the above picture. Yes she is rather buxom and has a womanly figure, this isn't going to change so if you like more slender-bodied girls then Freya isn't for you. Not to say she can't be transformed...just whatever she changes into is generally as full-bodied as she is now. Despite a new era and time to live in, she rarely changes to new fashions and prefers the old way. In other words the dresses and fur-boots of her time. For those out there who like such things...Yes, Freya can lactate. She had a single son before stealing the mug and never saw a reason not to use such a handy supply of milk or to let it stop. The only other thing of particular note is a bizarre rune branded unto her left buttocks that she still isn't sure where it came from. When she's content, its the pleasant reminder of a drinking contest with some handsome outer-being who left the mark to prove she had one. When she's depressed she'll swear it's a hell-mark leeching away her very life force. Who knows?

If you've gotten this far and are still interested in reading, then congratulations! Your also probably wondering if theres anything special about the buxom Freya besides the ability to drink an Irish football team under the table and still be able to waltz away. Well there is. Afterall...why would Odin have just happened to be in that mead hall?
Easy...he was watching one of the goddesses of his pantheon to ensure that she is alright. Freya is actually Freyja, goddess of a great many things and trapped in a mortal body by the rune engraved into her very flesh, but still no one knows where it came from. Certainly not the Norse gods. How did Freyja even get here? Well that's easy enough to explain, it was Loki's fault. One of his many pranks caught Freyja and the result pushed her out into the mortal realm for one years time, and as expected helped bring the end of days closer, which was to be expected. Freyja and her three attendants Sjöfn, Lofn, and Vár were banished to live with the humans for one year's time though Loki did not manage to keep Freyja from taking her feathered cloak, Valshamr, or her necklace, Brísingamen, from her which means she was hardly defenseless.
Somehow though...something still happened. Freyja and her divine attendants still managed to fall of the celestial view and where scattered to the four winds. It was during that brief time when even Odin could not find her that she received the mark and became Freya. All that is Freyja still lurks below the surface and in dire enough circumstances the goddess is able to force her way past the rune trapping her in order to assume control once more. In such times she is all that she was, a goddess in the flesh and not something to be trifled with at all. Her mastery of Seid is matched by no other and it is that mastery that can keep her from harm (Seid deals with divination and transforming things, in other words Freyja can accurately see the future and act on it...She can also be part of fun transformation role-plays). Whenever Freyja manages to cease control a much more...lusty personality comes to the fore, one driven to find her attendants and work out the rest of her one-year banishment with gusto (For Freyja, no time passes while imprisoned, nor does she actively know she is routinely trapped. Whenever she escapes its an entirely reflexive thing.)
Several things that Freya attributes to the mug actually come from the dormant goddess within her. Such as the ability to reform her body when it's destroyed. Her youthful appearance and ability to wield the mug. A palapable aura of beauty...all of thats Freyja and she has such things when actually acting as Freyja as well...just...well enhanced. The goddess is vulnerable while trapped inside Freya and anyone controlling and able to threaten the barmaid finds a potent goddess at their call whenever she awakens...and a fierce and extremely powerful foe wrathfully waiting if that control should ever...slip.
