Medieval Timeline:
Weitherina or Wei as she likes to be called since her name can be a mouthful to people is one of the Gijinka race which inhabits the world along side humans....sort of at least.

The humans continued growth as a race has cased them to expand into Gijinka territory causing endless wars to breakout across the lands where Gijinka have lived in peace for hundreds of years. This has lead many to war or to develop armies to repel the ambitious human race with every thing they can muster.

Though thanks to the Gijinka's magical abilities and superior strength to humans the wars became stagnated border skirmishes which popped up here and there from time to time. By the time Weitherina was hatched many humans had pushed way into Gijinka territory and were threating to take yet more land from them by the time Weitherina was old enough to join the army which she had been training for years to join.

Modern Timeline:
Weitherina or Wei as she likes to be called since her name can be a mouthful to people is one of the Gijinka race which inhabits the world along side humans....sort of at least.

After the second world war ended a new united human government decided that the world needed to change after countless thousands of years of fighting since the human expansion back in the medieval ages. This lead to many many wars sparking across the world.

But when the third world war broke out humanity finally realized that they were no match for the Gijinka and after an utter defeat at the hands of the Gijinka surrendered to them and went back to their controlled countries to discuss what to do next. Thus the new government was made and in cohesion with the Gijinka government established a peaceful arrangement for both races which would be beneficial to them.

In the new agreement the Gijinka are able to govern them selfs like they have before and the humans government would do the same but would come together when world wide policies needed to be talked about. The Gijinka have a police force which deals with both the humans and Gijinka's due to the after effects of what happened during the war when the Gijinka would eat prisoners of war without giving them quarter. Due to the Gijinka's need to feed on fully grown humans certain laws were put in place to deal with it.

Weitherina is one of the police who make sure that the Gijinka report their prey to the registry when then eat them and tracks down any offenders of this law and works to get the violators off the streets to make it safe for both the Gijinka prey class and the non voric humans which surfaced after the third world war.

Alternate Modern Timeline:
Weitherina is one of two of genetically created races, the other being cat girls and boys. But unlike the cat girls and boys Wei's race was made for war originally. But three years after the US government started using only the dragon male and female class as soldiers and would send them on semi suicidal missions to which many would usually not come back.

This would go on for many years until the massacre of the desert where five thousand dragons lost their lives to only two thousand resistance fighters. The media quickly grabbed the story when they stumbled upon the battle and watched the outcome with horror. The military said it was the cost of victory, but the public thought otherwise as such a massive loss of life was un-heard of.

The outraged public cried out for justice against the government for its inhuman use of the dragon class and after years of turmoil the government would pull the dragons from the military and grant them citizenship. Most moved to new city states with their own government to live out of sight and mind while most like Wei would live in dragon sections of towns.

Modern Post Apocalypse:
The world has come to an end in any way possible. Wei managed to survive and now lives with others of all races in a secluded town far out in the wastelands of the shattered ruins of the destroyed and crumbling ashes of the modern world she had grown up in. Or she was born hundreds of years after the cataclysm which claimed the modern world into ash and rubble.
