Walden

Walden is an anthro bull African bush elephant. He stands 12 feet tall, with a heavy, muscular form. At first glance, he appears to have something of a beer belly, but in reality, it’s almost entirely muscle, with just a slight layer of fat. It’s a build that makes it clear he has strength in abundance,

His tusks are long and magnificent, and his skin is tough, leathery, and gray, with several scars from old battles. The only clothing he wears is a long brown loincloth that drops down about halfway down his thighs on both sides. He rarely, if ever, carries any sort of weapon; his body is weapon enough.

Walden was once renowned throughout the savanna he called home, as the strongest warrior of his tribe, and perhaps the strongest on the whole savanna.

He was known as Walden the Lion Eater, from the day he saved a cow (as in female elephant, not bovine) from a pride of lions. The fighting was fierce, but Walden managed to end it decisively; when he crammed the male’s head into his jaws. He was quickly swallowed, his struggles useless inside the elephant’s gut. The lionesses quickly fled...but not before Walden grabbed another one, sending her to join the male.

Walden wasn't shunned for his odd appetite; indeed, his tribe saw the value in his abilities. He was made a hero. He became famous for his talents, and the first two lions were far from the last to vanish down his gullet. And the ones he swallowed were the lucky ones. When he felt like showing off, the lions were, more humiliatingly, taken up his rump, or sucked down his trunk, or even shoved into his mighty member.

But of course, soon, lions learned to avoid where he'd been seen. And, while he could live quite happily on 'normal' food, he just missed that struggling inside. So often, whenever he could, he sated his appetite on other, less threatening prey. Antelopes were his most common victims, although monkeys, hyenas, leopards and even cheetahs (when he could catch them) were welcome treats.

Eventually, though, his habits were discovered, and his tribe became worried. They realized Walden had become addicted to live prey, and this made him dangerous. So, he was exiled from the tribe.

Now a loner, he wandered around, sating his hunger on other travelers or the occasional one-night stand, until he heard rumors...Rumors of a place where the meals were far more plentiful and varied. So, he looked for this place, and now, he's found it. Look out, folks.
