Vrana

The Vrana, not an individual, a species of demihuman lizards of unusual size now establishing themselves in the wider galaxy.
As such they're now available to encounter other races and such in the galaxy. And yes, they are both large and pred capable.

Vrana history:
The vrana used to be a somewhat more naive and liberal species prior to their first contact with aliens. When the hiver
mothership arrived in their star system they had visions of benevolent aliens seeking peace to uplift them into a wider
peaceful galactic community..

The hiver colonization attempt nearly rendered the vrana extinct and the nuclear attacks the vrana turned to annihilate the
hivers left their planet in ruins. The vrana clawed their way back from the brink of armaggedon and to the stars, but the
experience changed them.

Vrana society:
The vrana have a rather militant and heavily organized society. It's not a democracy, its a form of authoritarian crisis socialism
that has lasted since the hiver war. Everyone has a job, every job is for the state..and a lot of those jobs are military jobs.
The vrana are in a constant state of vigilant preparedness and the two major investments of their energy as a race are their
military capability and establishing colonies to reduce the risk of extinction. An interesting quirk unrelated to their
current regime is that vrana have no form of nudity taboo.

Vrana technology:
The vrana are not usually considered the most technologically sophisticated species. What their technology does tend to be
is redundant and rugged. You can expect armour plating, chemical propelled ballistic weapons, nuclear weapons, rail guns and
bunkers.

Vrana biology:
The vrana are naturally very resilient, which coupled with their lack of nudity taboo means they don't bother with clothes
except for three reasons, indicating rank, pockets and protection against more extreme threats.
Vrana are also universally hermaphrodite that means every vrana is well hung.
The vrana are capable of vore, their attitude to predation can vary depending on the needs of the rp though.
