Meet Vi! She's a precocious young whippersnapper with a penchant for three things: mischief, magic, and friendliness. She is one of the lucky few with a connection to the astral world, capable of channeling arcane energy through her body. She leaves a footprint on the spirit realm, her mind is an anchor for supernatural power. Etc, etc. In other words, she's a budding magician.
As an enchantress in training, Vi has a habit of slinging spells and casting charms frequently, just to get some practice on her belt. Practice which she desperately needs, because she often finds herself bursting with magic when her emotions get out of control. The ground shakes when she gets mad, snow swirls around her when she's feeling aloof, and flowers blossom when she's happy. Beyond just general magic however, her precise specialty is pyromancy, with her signature being floating balls of blue fire used for a variety of purposes.
Without any sort of proper training or even a real mentor, Vi has to do everything magic-related on her own, through trial and error. She's managed to learn most of what she knows without any outside influence, but there is one trick that was given to her rather than self-developed. Namely, the ability to transform into a more formidable combatant, a warrior form with graceful poise and magnificent strength, not to mention an odd sword of frozen azure flame.
