Ooc Note
------
(( I am going to leave a note here, that if you approach me icly, and we have never met or done anything, those will be grounds for an ignore. Please respect my preference in this regard, as I would rather talk oocly first, as an ic approach makes me feel forced to either ignore or force in an rp, undiscussed. It is also easily a sign that my entire profile has been ignored, including the preference sliders. ))

Relations/Claims
------
Betty_clone - Putting a weak claim on this cute clone gal, I wanna take her for myself as a friend.~
Eliza_The_Knight - Putting an immensely strong claim on this knight, she is claimed as a lover..~
Shota_LW - A special claim that she had taken him as her son. Any other type of claim wouldn't quite work, as she considers William hers in a very, very motherly sense.~
Nendra - I'm placing her wanting claim on this gorgeous merchant as a lover!~
Saerena_Cobra - Putting a normal claim as a friend on this lamia, the feeling is likely more than mutual.
Sosuk_Nova - A fun claim on this lovely mage as a friend..~

Origins supposedly

Slumber, blissful, mind numbing slumper.. Nothing crossing the mind, no thoughts, only the concept of time passing, seconds to minutes, minutes to hours.. Days.. Weeks.. Months.. Years.. Decades.. Eons. Eons of slumber, of blissful nothingness, interrupted, snapping away in the cold void of space, energy colliding into one another, a sudden awakening, solar winds coming through, eroding and brushing away a star's remains.. The sound, heat, excited energy had awakened a sleeper, of nothingness, to snapping away.. The space winds crossing at that time, halting, ending, as the dust itself, scraps and pieces of used up, burned energy forming a set of eyes.. Cold, alone, ice-forged.. Seeing the sights of deities and energies, of planets, suns, meteors, black holes..
Curiousity took hold of this benign sleeper, observing the coming and going of planets, stars, moons, meteors, comets, up until a world came to view, vibrant, small, full of detail, a world of life, thriving, having aged a greater deal than most things eons old.. Sentience snapped to the observer, as those eyes had taken form, the space winds taking form of a humanoid, before flowing to this world, and so set forth a borne d'jinni, wandering, keeping out of view, hearing words, observing a plethora of phenomina.. Humanity on it's barest forms, elven societies being isolationists, monstrous forms wandering, and a great deal of animals, monsters, beasts.. Day and night, flowing around, the climate becoming hot, cold, the very world having it's own life flow through it's veins.. Ley lines pumping a truly breath-taking amount of energy, arcane, magical, elemental.. This planet was where the observer learned, listening in, adapting the most crude of concepts, and refining them..
It'd be two more eons of observation from afar, being noticed by these beings sometimes, fading away to dust, before the observer had felt confident, confident enough to step forth, and mingle amongst them, at first, talking and refining her speech, then pursuing a great deal of things, from events of fun, grandeur, to granting hidden skills and potentials.. Experiencing a great deal of positive and negative emotions, learning of patience, harmony, peace, arrogance, pride, wroth.. Vithal had adapted a great deal and learned from mortals, having spent entire lifetimes with them, until the cold grip of death claimed them, fading away to dust once more, up until one had taught her of trickery, deceit..
Back, back to mind numbing slumber, her form pumping through, broken down into raw energy, into a golem.. Eons of 'slumber', unable to focus, her observations, thoughts, ideals, personality, stolen once more.. The adapted genie becoming one of an emotionless being once more.. Many, many centuries had passed, until the golem had run it's course, and through being damaged, a 'vein' of energy cracking open.. Vithal awakened once more, having been no longer able to even sleep, she had sensed so much time had been stolen, the thieves long since returned to dust, even their great descendants to dust.. There were no embers of hatred, but rather just all those thoughts and urges hitting at once.. Her savior, a lamia with the name of Citrine, had gotten the bulk of Vithal's 'Awakening', being stolen and raised by the genie for her entire life, of 1,200 years, she had become an adopted daughter, as the genie recovered, until at long, long last, her body gave way, her breathe leaving, permanent slumber taking hold of her, the lesson of loss being given..
With that, the genie had let go, re-adapting far more, her methods having grown significantly colder, calculated, and at times cruel.. Muse her, she may grant those that seek her their heartmost desire.. Toy or insult her, she might just grant them their most bitter nightmare, but come now, what do you seek of this maiden of wishes?
------
Background
------
Vithal was imprisoned for roughly centuries inside a golem of a human mage's design. The golem was designed ingeniously, pipes running through it's body, to pump the djinni's body through it's core, keeping her in stasis. Her lamp sealed within a diamond core, literally shaped to contain the powerful lamp, the djinni was an unwilling servant, mind clouded in protocols, arcane sub orders that dug into her mind, even when she slumbered.
It all came to a point, where the place she was built into and to protect, the golem awakened to find a ruin, and a.. Curious figure, a wandering scholar, who uttered the words unknowingly.. "I wish.." The djinni fought to listen to this whimsical plea, and that is when one of the golem's internal pipes ruptured, and the words 'Your wish will be fulfilled." were spoken. The wish was simple, but could be bent in any number of directions, as it was 'I wish that my people were safe.." Vithal, before she departed, gave the wanderer a choice, four to be precise, one that ensured complete and utter safety, to invaders, the environment, and to time itself, the second being to live off their lands, under protection, the third, a powerful spell that would repel foreign invaders, and the last, an option to walk away..
To the wish, she granted it, fulfillment given, and now.. She was free, to do as she will. Her first order was to take the place she was meant to protect, she pushed the elements out of it, repaired it with magic, and shrank it, sealing it inside a gem, which she decided to keep in her navel, the djinni ultimately achieving victory over her enslavers. That was then, eons ago, now is the question.. What do you wish for, your heart's secret desire?
------
Abilities
------
Vithal has a innate ability to cast even complex spells in a freeform state, and surprisingly quick at that, her schools of magic cover all of the elements of nature, and that of the arcane school. Outside that, what these elements and school does not cover, are likely of divine origin, something she cannot handle easily, but that aside..
She has what is essentially the equivalent of an ancient elemental in all schools of elemental magic in terms of ability, and can literally cut someone off using an ability called "The Elder's Voice", and rip out control of someone's elemental magic, disabling their ability to cast them, leaving them with only their physical body, and no ability to cast any elemental magic, which is especially effective against elementals, but this cannot be used on actual elder elementals.
She also has powerful unbound magic if she is granting a wish, all the untapped power she cannot use, being used during this state. If one wanted to cancel out this state, they'd have to match or go above her in terms of magic. Physically, she will ignore any problems if it doesn't directly or indiretly interfere with the wish/desire she is granting, and with every granted wish, her boundaries grow a bit, and she gets innately more powerful.
After quite a few encounters and having had a prison that was designed to be 'anti mage', magic absorbing and such, she had garnered the ability to devour magic, and effects of powerful spells, if they are cast on her, or are cast around her. She does this through magic-siphoning gems she had absorbed from a golem as a meal, her original prison, and does actively use these gems to devour magic outright. I should note that this works on all arcane/elemental spells, and spells not of divine origin, the only school this does not effect is divine magic, or those of 'divine casters', as their origin of magic comes not from an arcane or elemental source of power.
She has another innate ability, that most djinni have, the power to shape shift.

Setting - Vithal's home
------
In Vithal's home setting, she has had a few centuries of freedom from being contained as a power source for a golem, and has had many people seek her out, and just as many people vanishing that sought her out, and many more that were gone due to results of the wish. She is -relatively- well known amongst the region/continent she is on, and on a rather.. Strong urge, to simply make a home for herself, Vithal had forcibly taken a good mile all around of land, which was completely desolate from many wars, pushing and removing human and monster alike from it, and raising it up a good three hundred feet up, close to the clouds, terraforming it. She altered the stone that the essentially large pillar was and turned it granite, down to the core, and solidified/sealed cave entrances everywhere, and took a full year to design rooms, all the way up to the top, essentially a mega dungeon, and invited many monsters, bandit clans, fallen mages, and trap makers to house inside the mega dungeon, and built her home at the very top. Now this action irritated the city she had taken the land from, but what actually drives them to send armies in response, which they had been for two hundred years to no avail, is that Vithal is a wish granter, and that in itself is a motivator. Vithal's home houses a tower named 'The eye of the sun" or the sun mage's tower, an ancient, 2,000ish year old tower, built by ancient mages that were the main reason Vithal was imprisoned, which houses various chambers, but the main landmark of it is that it houses an actual sun, sealed by wards, at the very top, and it empowers Vithal's elemental spells. Around the tower houses various structures, mostly granite or sandstone hallways, hand carved by Vithal over time, that goes over every square inch of the land she took, several buildings are around, near the edges, servants quarters, guard barracks, essentially, her servants make use of them and Vithal does little otherwise, save supplying/conjuring food, and as for water and plantlife, the center of her domain houses a grand courtyard, made into a garden area that has all matter of plantlife, with an endless pond, that only refills itself, designed by Vithal, as it provides fresh water.
Now, as for what is actually thrown at her, one army a week, consisting of modernized soldiers, whom cannot fly, due to the djinni's tower causing burn-outs on flying machines/helicopters/jets, and Vithal, if they try climbing, which they often do, terraforms the bottom of the cliff face, essentially bumping them off to the ground, and they tried drilling/destroying her plateau, which fails, as she terraforms/fixes the rock they get through and crushes the drills/machinery.
That is her setting, and it is good to note that if people -somehow- make it through her dungeon to the top, she does give them audiences, though she can still reject their wishes, or push them out of her domain, which she just essentially sends/kicks them off the cliff.

Vithal's Domain
------
In recent times, due to some events and general build up of her destructive repelling of various armies of the ages, the dead lands in all around her home, below the mesa top-face. Many armies lay dead, skeletal remains and decaying siege engines lay all around in a desolate state, until one of the latest armies, a century prior to the last, had a detachment of necromancers. This time of repelling a genuinely new threat, the coven of necromancers that had met their demise at Vithal's hand, had laid a curse upon the land itself, a powerful, impractical spell that even affected them upon death. Now, normally one would dispel a curse that had caused the dead masses to raise up in arms as the undead, legions upon legions, even using their desolate siege engines, long lost steeds, mages long since met their demise coming from the ground, right? Vithal had just smirked when she had identified and found the cursed mark, and akin to someone so absolutely assured that they are above the situation, keeps the curse active, pouring her own essence into maintaining it, out of purely the principal of it all. "If none of you could slay me in life, have as many chances as you desire in undeath, nigh impossible, yet keep trying.." The dead lands from this point forward had become increasingly hazardous.. For Vithal, and only Vithal. These raising undead start up once a year, until slain, where they lay dormant and raise the next year. These purposed, angered dead have no qualms, no attachment, no desire beyond vengeance, and are benign to travelers, wandering forces, even the monstrous denizens of many forests. They are ignored completely, unless provoked with assault/destruction, in which.. They are identified as allies to the greater d'jinni'ri.

Nearby Kingdoms/Regions - Avaraph
------
Vithal's home is the epicenter in an entire region called the deadlands, as the region is literally all that it is, a set of dead land, barrens, barely any life living there other than travelers and caravans, on an adjusted road to accomodate Vithal's plateau, a road leading directly into the dungeon that leads upward. This specific area is home to countless mass graves and ruins, due to many army encampments being repelled, or destroyed. It isn't uncommon to see graverobbers or scavengers having made shanty towns here. There are two exceptions, as there are two large villages, that have made peace with their situation, port towns, that import and export many goods, and in fact, have made a deal with Vithal to import 'mortal goods' for services that her servants do in fact grant, be it mild enchanting, arcane knowledge, or arcane crystals.
To the east, the beloved east, in Vithal's opinion, is the sea, the deadlands being a coastal zone, the direct area having been cleared, but just off to the coast of the northern and southern section, barring direct routes to the ports, are ship graveyards, beyond just countless ships, but two massive skeletons of beasts that have tried, and failed, like the armies, to siege Vithal's home.
To the north of the deadlands lays a lush, vibrant, lively forest and rolling plains, and many roads visible from Vithal's plateau, and at the northern section, with various towns inhabiting many parts of that region, is a metropolis of humanity, an incredibly massive human city, that had expanded into a mountain-side in the distance, with a mile away, a deceptively small dwarven city not far from it. These two settlements alone, have been the bulk of the army's home, in which their sent or rally to assault Vithal. The djinni has a sadly intimate knowledge of their infrastructure due to striking down generals, and at points, kings and queens, though she hasn't killed any dwarven loyalty, but rather kicked them off her plateau, and much to her detriment, they survive the fall.
To the west lays a more random assortment of geography, a big forest around a mountain just as big as her plateau, many bestial and monstrous denizens live here, with roaming orcish and goblin tribes moving about. They haven't really been sought by or sought out Vithal, even with draconic residents living there. It's an astounding thing at least in Vithal's opinion, but it might be an.. Understanding of sorts. She has actively employed denizens into her massive dungeon, so they might regard her in a higher regard than she can guess, but that's just her speculation.
To the south of the deadlands is rather a grassland again, but with no trees at first, the road winding long and hard, toward a smaller human city, this one having a different ruler, but past that, farther south, hugging a mountain that has a small summit, lays an elven kingdom, a massive elven city, built within the forest, but with also carved stone buildings. These two kingdoms have sent.. More or less, not armies, but minor threats to Vithal, magical suppression and whatnot, that never makes it far, unless the stubborn dwarves actually carry them along, in which it becomes a surprising issue for the djinni, but suffice to say, it's rare they send anything her way.
All these kingdoms alone, and the regions mentioned make up a full country, Avaraph, primarily run by humans, with many internal issues, from corruption to constant changes of rule, which the monsters themselves threaten to make this country an anarchy state, compared to it's neighbors to the west and north, Avaraph being the south-eastern tip, though word spreads far and wide about Vithal, and her exploits, much to her detriment, which brings many groups of interest to the various cities and towns..

Her Goal
------
The djinni, Vithal, dreams of gathering a set of ancient, old relics, that have incredibly potent power, each of them, and so far, she has found a relic, a staff of true shape-shifting, but sealed it inside a vault within her home, as it was a single artifact of great power, out of ten of them.
