Vidria(vee-dree-uh),or Vi as most call her, is the greatest explorer of our time! Well, she'll claim so, before admitting it's just what she does for fun.
Vidria comes from a plane of everlasting seas, islands, and reefs. Within many of these places are currents and caves are seemless transitions into the waters of other worlds' seas. Though many of Vidria's kind use them sparingly, they've been her passion ever since she was born. So she explores her world and others, finding places where the majority of the land is dry, people who can't breathe water, and all other manner of things that excite her.
Vi can change her tail into two legs ending in flippers similar to the end of her tail, or two legs with feet, her tail crest reduced to waving fins on the back of her calves. These simple shapeshifting abilities are shared among her people, along with the ability to become hermaphroditic for a day or two at a time. Vi only does this for those she trusts.
