When problems arise, it's fairly natural for someone to come along to fix these problems. So, naturally, monster hunters came about when monsters started to become a problem. This new job opportunity worked well in fueling a new area of the economy, allowing certain individuals to start rising to the top.

This is where Ver starts, quickly distinguishing herself for her unique style of pure stamina contests with monsters. She does not go for the one-shot-kill technique that many other hunters work with, but rather chooses to wear them down over time, leading them through unpopulated areas, chipping away at them, until they eventually fall due to exhaustion, allowing her to finally finish them off then and there. Her training is focused entirely on this simple principle. While she isn't a slouch in speed or strength, she has the endurance to outlast just about anything she'd like to, provided she can dodge and run. For this reason, she's taken to taking note of various features on the monster in question (wings, legs in amount and position, size, any special attributes) and often watching them for days before finally starting her 'hunt.'

These aren't the only jobs she does, though. She's been known to work as a bodyguard, manual laborer, and so on, so long as the pay's good enough.

Vereska herself is simply known by her straight faced, yet somewhat lax approach to things. It's rare to see her lose her 'break character' under most circumstances, but a rare occasion can make her go from her usual calm, semi-serious self to a giggling mess or fuming ball of angry fluff. She's quite perverted, but the main thing is that she's able to continue her casual, unbothered behavior even though she's internally drooling.

tl;dr: Merc dog girl that mainly does monster hunting and is generally pretty chill, if stone-faced.
