Vega Skylark, adopted son of one of the countless Nurse Joys, has been a poke-medic for as long as he can remember- and is one of the best in his field. Able to heal pokemon outside of the pokemon centers with almost scary efficiency, Vega has been sought after by various teams of trainers.

The secret to his healing is unknown to him. One day before he became an official pokemedic, he was wandering in the woods. He would find a wild Gardevoir being attacked by an anthro houndoom- a Waterpician to be precise. With no hesitation, he would shove the gardevoir out of the way of a flamethrower- his arms being engulfed in the flames.

The waterpician houndoom had witnessed this bravery and dedication to helping pokemon through him saving one he never met for no personal reasons, so she weaved her magic into her flames- the permanent effect of her flames would endow him with the power to heal pokemon just by being in contact with them.

She would test him in a fight, seeing that he did not offer any resistance. She ascertained that he did not wish to harm any pokemon, despite the fact she had severely burned his arms- and swiftly knocked him out. Before leaving him, she would use her magic on the medic's eyes, to grant him the sight he'd need to utilize the gift within his arms.

Eventually, he figured out that his healing power was a form of magic and through trial and error, he has managed to consciously tap into it and completely remove the need for equipment when he does his work.

He would later run into Eve_Code_Empress, and in a desperate attempt to save her, managed to expand his healing abilities to more than just pokemon.

Personality: He dislikes the prospect of trainers purposely hurting their pokemon, having seen too many bad examples.

He seems to be a bit reluctant to admit to his abilities, finding the attention he gets to be a little troublesome. He also distinguishes between a doctor and a medic, of which he considers himself the latter.


Abilities-

Healing- Oddly enough, Vega has a rather useful gift of being able to heal pokemon from most injuries with no equipment. He has learned to tap into this ability so he can actively heal a pokemon with the magic. He doesn't know how he got it, although the only lead he has is the massive burns on his arms he got from the flames of a Waterpician Houndoom. He has recently figured out how to heal people rather than pokemon exclusively- although it takes alot more out of him.

In a battle, he can only use this power three times before he runs low on stamina.

Healer's sight- his eyes have been modified by the waterpician houndoom after she knocked him unconscious- to grant him the ability to see the injuries of pokemon, sort of like an organic x-ray.

Reformation: For some reason, whenever he is killed or consumed, he will always wake up some point later, fully intact.

Weapons-

'Tyrant Steel' Scalpels- custom made surgical tools, these blades have been sharpened to a single atom, perfect for emergency surgeries out in the wild, or for self defense. They are incredibly durable, though not practical for protracted battles. He has modified them with wires so he can swing them around for long range.

Transformation(s): over the course of his status as a prey, he is bound to be unbirthed or otherwise reformed as something else. (I will choose which version he will play as in an RP, or we can discuss it))

Slime- After being absorbed by Zaletha , Vega can turn into a lavender-slime boy. Tasting like cherries, he can easily slip his way around or into something if he so chose. He doesn't have the hunger to absorb prey, not yet anyway.



Pokemon- While not officially a trainer, he does have a pokemon who follows him around like a fangirl. Most of the pred stuff involves her.

Gardevoir
The pred in their relationship, Gardevoir follows Vega around. She is the one who refers to him as 'Doctor', despite the fact he is a medic.

She herself possesses an unusual amount of combat stamina, able to fire off three hyper beams in a row before having to recharge.

Generally, Gardevoir is a nice pokemon, but when push comes to shove, she will get involved in a fight.

Ability: Trace
Moveset:

Hyperbeam- her trademark attack, she has trained herself to fire it thrice before needing to recharge.

Hypnosis: using her psychic power, Gardevoir attempts to implant a suggestion into the mind of her target, usually to make them go to sleep.

Dream Vore: a specialized variant of Dream Eater, she enters a sleeping foe's dream and consumes their dream self. Not only does this revitalize her, but it also shakes up the sleeping opponent and weakens them for a bit.

Dazzling Gleam: With her fabulous fairy typing, she emits a bright, damaging light.

Teleport: Gardevoir cuts her losses and leaves the fight, often times leaving Vega to fend for himself.
