Vatya

Sooner or later, everyone wants, or needs, or thinks they need something done. Something that's not exactly legal, or smiled upon by the Powers that Be. Something that is going to take skill and resources to pull off. For such a need, there's a few options, these days, but Mercs can be expensive, and specialists even more so! And, well, most of them are only in it for the money, without the least twinge of conscience. Likewise, many have little or no ethics or morals to speak of.

Vatya, on the other hand, does have both moral character and a strong set of business ethics. There are things she won't do, but there are not many of them. As long as you aren't doing some really objectionable things with her help, she'll work for you, and while her prices are steep... well. Anyone who's encountered her speaks highly of her, either as an enemy or as an ally. Because, you see, she has Charisma, and the skill to USE it.

... the thing about that, though, is that Charisma is a heavy slugthrower, capable of firing flechette rounds or magnetically accelerated slugs at impressive velocities, with sabot rounds for accuracy as needed, or shaped, precision slugs. Depends on the situation. Capable of very high fire rates, with little to no recoil, and an impressive amount of force behind each shot, Charisma sees her through almost any rough spots she's encountered. Charisma and Persuasion will get her through almost anything, in fact(Persuasion being her pistol).

Still, when one first encounters her, one may not expect her to be quite as... skilled, perhaps, or as jaded, as she seems to be. She has a world(s)-weary, been there, done that kind of attitude, coupled with a snarky, twisted sense of humor that throws many of her clients off balance. Indeed, most of the people who meet her see only a tired old drunk.... which is just how she likes it, because sometimes those people are trying to kill her, and no one expects a drunk to be a real threat.

It helps, of course, that her species doesn't get drunk like we do. Instead of losing hand-eye coordination, among other things, they get... well, emotionally altered. Some get giddy, some get angry, some get... well, tired. Others, like Vatya, are wise enough to invest in an alchohol processing implant that keeps them from getting drunk at all, useful indeed if one wants to fool everyone.

As for her species... well, she's the only known example of her kind. Humanoid, and, indeed, nearly human by the looks of her, Vatya stands five and a half feet tall, with caramel skin, blue hair, and purple eyes. Indeed, were it not for certain anatomical differences, she could easily pass for human! However, a pair of blue, finny ears and a long, sleek, blue-scaled tail tipped with a diamond-shaped fin of its own gives her away. Add in an impressive set of chromatophors in her skin and hair(Which, incidentally, comes down to the bottom of her shoulderblades), and some interesting neural relays throughout her body, and she can, at times, simply blend in and disappear.. handy, when one might need to make a quick getaway.

Typically clad in a form-fitting black bodysuit that covers everything below her neck, with a longcoat over it, Vatya is definitely easy on the eyes, with a slender, toned build that's often done favors by her tail revealing her bum, swishing about as she gets happier. She's also got a heck of a smile, though perhaps a slightly unnerving one for humans, featuring fangs as it does, and an interesting sense of humor. And, for the right price, she'll do (almost) anything for you.
