Vargulf

Vargulf is a young, athletic, and extremely confident anthro wolf. Born into a world of sword and sorcery, and to a northern tribe of warriors, his path in life was set from the beginning. From an early age he trained in the art of combat, growing stronger and more skilled, eventually even seeing his first battles and making his first kills.

But, he decided that the path of war was not for him - he'd met and fought alongside adventurers, and heard their tales of conquest, treasure, and more than a few stories of a more lewd nature involving a different sort of 'conquest.' It enticed him, it was a more free, romantic, and lucrative profession than fighting in a shield wall and sitting around in forts.

And so he's set out into the world to make a name for himself. He's already had a few successes, and it's emboldened him further to try bigger targets, to show how skilled a warrior he is and get rich doing so.

Of course, Vargulf isn't particularly aware of how many of the adventurers like him have died long before becoming fabulously - or even modestly - wealthy. Or that scant weeks after he met them, the group that convinced him to become an adventurer ended up as food for a bunch of gnolls.

While he may be strong, agile, and fairly clever, Vargulf is one wolf - and an overconfident one at that. Sooner or later he will meet his match, make a mistake, or get caught in a trap, and he'll have no one to save him.

OOC Notes type-thing:

Vargulf is a permavore prey character. He has but one life to live and when someone or something finally takes that from him, he's gone - and I'll edit his profile to reflect that fact, including whom he got the honor of serving as a meal, and how he did so.

Vargulf finally met his end after entering a gladiatorial contest that pitted him against Lochran , resulting in a humiliating defeat for the wolf as he was forced into submission, degraded and bred before the arena's crowd's very eyes before being forced up Lochran's rump. He's currently taking up residence in a chamberpot somewhere as a pile of kitty litter.
