Renko is a student in the outside world, presumably in a college or university. She majors in physics and is very objective and logical in her approach to matters. Together with her friend, Maribel Han, she has an interest in what would be considered the paranormal. Their club, consisting of only the two of them, describes itself as a club for necromancers. However they don't do many of the things necromancers would normally be associated with. Instead, they investigate spirits and such. Specifically they're interested in Gensokyo and seem to be among the few, or even the only, humans in the outside world who know of Gensokyo's existence.
An ordinary, drab looking girl with neck length black hair and light brown eyes. She’s rather short for her age, standing at about 5’1”, her figure isn’t very developed either. Her normal outfit is usually a white long sleeved blouse, a neck tie, a grey skirt, and high cut boots. One thing she is almost always wearing is a black pork pie hat with a rather large bow tied around it. When asked about it she always says “Because a witch should always have her hat.” Or something similar.
Personality: Her personality is sometimes described as disagreeable but it’s really best described as straightforward. A very self-confident person that likes to stick her nose into every trouble out of curiosity. Despite her outward appearance of being a slacker, Renko is fiercely competitive, a hard worker who tries to catch up to others with lots of natural born talents and abilities with her secret training and magic development. Because of this, she often gets jealous of those who never train but still exceeds her with their talent alone. Although she possesses sharp wisdom, she normally doesn’t use it to her benefit preferring to lead a self-indulgent life full of playing.
Ability:
Living GPS: No matter where Renko is, she knows EXACTLY where and when she is, and how to get from the spot to where she needs to go. How? Call its a sixth sense...call it an innate knowledge of the stars...call it dumb luck, but she always gets there with little to no trouble.
