Starting on a New Path
Lord Dow, the master of evil, the lord of shadows, conquerors of worlds…currently unemployed. The Hero was triumphant…the demons defeated…and the land rejoicing. A common enough tale to be sure and one we have heard a thousand times over. However, this is not that story, this is the story of what happens once the hero rides off into the sunset. After all, the hero just put a demon lord out of a job and out on the street.
Upon his defeat Lord Dow of the demon lineage, master of the living darkness, master of the dark arts…..was unemployed…he took it rather well all things considered…well after about a month of sulking that was. Still Lord Dow had his vassals to lead, to look after, and to rule… Then a plan occurred to him…one that was just crazy enough to work. Open a restaurant. Needless to say his demon lords were unsure of his new idea, but having been concurred and driven from their homes there was little else for them. So the demon lord proudly opened his restaurant. The ex-demon lord is every excited to see who comes to his new restaurant where the staff is quite literally in a class of their own.

Before Tempest was the lord of the sea, sorceress of the waters…..now she is the resturaunts sushi’s chief… A position she takes almost as seriously as her previous position. With the restaurants in location aquarium the lord of the sea boasts the freshest food, and in her own words “a better meal that any petty mortal could prepare.” Proud to a fault Tempest still retains the regal countenance that she held when she ruled the seas, and sees herself as superior to the customers. It might be a wise idea to thank her humbly for your meal, less you find yourself on the menu next.

Vegetarian Chief, and Manager of Salad bar
Name: Sharon- lord of the forest

Previously the guardian of the living forests…now the head of the vegetarian options and salad bar. Yet for all the emotion that the stoic Sharon shows it is possible she hasn’t noticed the change in position. Usually very silent, the wing and clawed creature, uses her affinity for the plant life to raise the food grown for the restaurant in her own green house. She appears usually carrying her herbs, fruits, and spices her and there, and sometimes simply sitting by the end of the salad bar, moving only to replace the tongs or clean up a stray bit of vegetation. Oddly enough many mistake Sharon for a statue and end up taking photos with her…though so far she has yet to smile for a photo.

Once the lady of winter and snow, master of the frozen might of the world…now in charge of deserts. Something that she is openly sad about. Despite her skill in the magical arts Odina is not the most graceful of her compatriots, and is terrible with crowds in her words “I’m the master of mountains *sniff* I don’t want company.” Insisting on staying out of sight Odina goes so far as to actually cover herself from head to toe in robes whenever she goes to deliver an order, trying to hide from everyone, and spending her spare time locked in the freezer. Shy would be an understatement for this ice goddess, though most say she makes the sweetest desert in Nexus.

Dosne….Dosne, Dosne if others were excited for their new position, then Dosne is practically ecstatic. Serving as the head waiter for the restaurant her’s is the first face that most meet when entering the establishment, something that suits her very well. She was the guardian of the desert, her riddles the doom for many that wished to claim her land, now she gets to ask questions of everyone that enters the restaurant, and if they want service they have to answer. Luckily for the business Dosne is not cruel, and you will be seated once she has her fun, though if you best her be ready to be seated in the far back of the restaurant under a broken bulb and on a rickety table…..she can be a bit petty.

Allora once lived in a swamp… not the nicest of places to be sure, so in moving to this town, and now working inside of the restaurant is a step up in their woman’s mind. She works now as both a waitress and cook, her Kagin style of preparation always ready to give a bit more spice to the meal. However, despite her happiness at being out of the swamp Allora isn’t very fond of humans for many reasons. I suppose after being labeled as the swamp witch one to many times left the woman with a short temper. If you decide to send you food back, or complain to Ms. Allora, well let’s just say a tip will be the least of your worries. Apart from this Allora is one of the few that actually refuses to speak with heroes and the like, she’s still sore about them kicking in her door and attacking her when she was in the shower of all places.

Master of the rolling planes…and now the happiest waitress that the restaurant has. Chiana was always one to rush into battle, brave, strong, and stubborn, she has carried most of these traits into her new position. Few are able to keep up with the excitable woman, and every order placed is a challenge to see how fast she can get it back. Known for being a bit impatient with the cooks, and even with customers Chinana, has more than once gotten the restaurant in trouble. Once when she tried to refile a customer’s milk by stripping off her shirt and beginning to milk herself….needless to say that the woman still has some learning to do…but it is wise to tip you waitress, particularly when she could throw the building after you, and don’t dine and dash, she can run faster than you.

Right hand man….well right, right, and right handed woman to be accurate. Ramona was the demon lord Dow’s personal guard, and she hasn’t seemed to change much since her time there. Strong as iron and about as blunt Ramona is an unusual pick for a waitress to be sure. Still her multiple limbs make her work easier than most, and she has an interesting view of her “duty” as she sees it sometimes referring to the patrons as my lord as she works to serve them. Once even going so far as to swear herself in service to a little boy on his birthday when he came in wearing a crown. Seems Ramona hasn’t grasped that she’s not working in a castle anymore. Still for dependable service there are few that can compete with the Lovely Ramona.

Furyosa, once the master of destruction, ruler of the living flame, and now...bouncer. After her defeat the half dragon giantess was about to put herself into a self imposed exile. Till her lord returned to her, and told her of his new idea...she at first thought he had gone mad, but followed after as his loyal retainer. When he actually managed to get the restaurant she gave him a rather long tongue lashing over her inability to fit inside the establishment. Trying to make amends the lord of darkness created an outdoor dinning area just for her, with a large fire pit that she is now in charge of. Despite what she would insist, she does enjoy cooking up some of the rare fiery creatures she knows, as well as keeping the restaurant save from anyone getting to rowdy. Though she is still unsure why she is forced to cover up her chest at the restaurant.
