A buxom, mature beauty like this... you wouldn't expect someone like her to be affiliated with the creation of magical girls, now would you? Hell naw, I'd imagine. Such is something of the plight of Ultiremia, being deemed far too mature to be working with magical girls. Though, that's something she sets out to defy on a regular basis. See, the reason why there's such a high risk factor for present-day MGs is the fact that they're taken too young. Unburdened by the weight of the world, young MGs have fallen out of style due to susceptability to being corrupted. On the other hand, who would think of looking to women over the age of 16 for magic? This is how Ultiremia's magical girls survive: simply being of an age where they've likely witnessed the horrors of the world, with weight on their shoulders simply from the standards of modern living. Forming a contract with these young women, her magical girls have the potential to be far more powerful and far more resilient than anything Kyuubey could ever hope of making.
The way that Ulti's magical girls resist darkness is already having some darkness in their hearts by default. Jealousy, short tempers, lust, or even just an ego. Upon conversion into MGs, they ironically become more resistant to magically induced darkness from usage of their spells. Also, due to the nature of their initially dark hearts, clearing their magical gems is as simple as one of a few things:
1) Eating out Ultiremia, or having her eat the girl out
2) Eating Ulti, or being eaten by her in turn, and granting the prey a full-tour
3) The usual transfer of darkness to a Grief Seed
Obviously, the first two are the safer ones, considering that neither runs the risk of reactivation a Grief Seed.
As for Ultiremia herself, her personality can be a bit... interesting. For starters, she seems a bit too interested in her magical girls, often encouraging them to engage in "purification" method #1. Though, if refused, she just shrugs her shoulders and goes on with another suggestion. She also possesses immense compassion for other human beings, even if most others can't see her, which is why her MGs are tailored the way they are, somewhat. The lack of Witches as a result of her actions is something to be beheld, though she's actually capable of saving Witches, herself. Another thing of mention is the fact that of all human hobbies to have... why did it have to be knitting?
