Description
USS Washington was the second of two fast battleships of the North Carolina class, both heavily engaged in action throughout the war. She was invested quite actively in the pacific alongside fellow battleship and friendly rival South Dakota, protecting the ship from being sunk as well as being the victor of one of the final BB vs BB engagements in the entire war. She however had to be retired early for a duration after Indiana cut in front of her and caused her to ram into the other battleship, causing heavy damage to both. By the end of the war, she had accumulated 13 battle stars, almost as many as her sister ship. In Azur Lane, she fought against a siren threat alongside sister ship North Carolina and light cruiser USS Helena, on the verge of defeat as they fled only to be saved by another ship who appeared to be the USS Enterprise, however very altered.


Appearance
Washington stands a little above average height normally when not in battle, sporting deep blue eyes and short white hair. She's almost always wearing a black corset with matching skirt and boots, a choker with a golden cross around her neck. Unlike her sister, she wears her rear admiral naval jacket upon her shoulders unbuttoned, the flag of her namesake state, Washington, emboldened upon the sleeve.


Personality
Washington is very energetic as opposed to her sister, as well as quite arrogant, albeit not a braggart, in her ability, almost always looking to jump into the fray and battle on a sortie. She is also, however, quite tsundere towards her commander, always trying to 'learn how to smile' towards them. When annoyed, she can be quite menacing, even towards her superiors. Overall, Washington is considered a hot-blooded ship with a lust for action and battle, while awkward in the social scene, but means well in the long run, if you can get past that ever-present smirk.
