Tsuruba

Tsuruba Nagamori (In Western Order, mind you), is one of several students at just one of many high schools across the Realm of Bells' multiverse, in a world where demi-human beings of myth like herself are common. (Though alternately, she might instead live in the Monster_Girls continuity...). Still, regardless of which universe she lives in, it's a sedate modern world where a tanuki schoolgirl like herself isn't out of the ordinary.

The Nagamori family is actually the current owner of a shrine outside of town, which is where Tsuruba lives and works when not going to school. This /does/ mean that she's a miko, yes, and totally will participate in small local festivals from time to time. Though, she doesn't necessarily know tons of holy magics or the like - since in a world where many mythic beings are real, that might be likely. No, Tsuruba has, while some knowledge of writing magical ofuda and good-fortune prayer strips, a different form of training entirely.

Tsuruba is what society has come to call a 'Shaper', a person skilled in transformations, often because of their magical lineage. And of all Shapers, one of the stronger lines is that of the Tanuki... They sacrifice the perfect /self/ shaping that a Doppelganger might possess, for the flexibility to change other people and objects just as well. She still needs some practice, but she's honestly pretty decent at it!

But, all the same, our fluffy-tailed friend is usually gentle and sweet, and tries to be a friend, big-sis, or other such figure to those in need. It... sometimes backfires, but the girl tries. She might possibly have magical solutions to any strange kinky play (...You should /know/ I mean vore.) she might get into with close friends or actual lovers, so she tries to stay easy-going. After all, tanuki girls have needs too! Sometimes /strong/ needs...
