Tsukikaze Yami once part of a Ninja Clan that originally was tasked with offering help to clients they could find. They were meant to focus on more benign and pure hearted clients but Greed and Ambition corrupted her clans ideals. Despite the fact they were the Yami Clan, she felt they were meant to use the Darkness to punish those of evil intentions. So taking her blade she abandoned the clan becoming a Renegade Ninja who tries to keep the legacy and honor of her clan by taking jobs from less fortunate people. Helping stop corrupt figures and fighting against the filth of the world while trying to avoid the hunters from her clan seeking her head.

She tries to make a living off her job doing vigilante work for hire. But she is able to scrap some small part time work when strapped for cash.
