The Tribe is built on the principle of traps and craft rather than hunting, even though it have a proud hunting pack that is nearly unmatched by any one else. Once they set their sights on a prey, it can't escape from them.
The hunters spending most of their time away from the tribe, forming a strong bond with nature. Each of them gaining a animal companion that stays with them through out their lives. These beasts being both intelligent and deadly on their own, faster, stronger, as well as smarted and bigger than their more common cousins.
But of course, in the end, the hunters often take trappers with them on their long hunts away from the tribe. Keeping their camp-sites safe and allowing them to sleep at night without running risk of being dragged out into the jungle forest around them.

Ka'Ta and Softpaw

Ka'Ta and Softpaw are the most independent of the hunter pairs. Often going off on month long hunts alone into the woods, returning with stories and trophies of beasts and wanders alike. Soft spoken and kind, they are liked among the tribe.
Nosight and Snowspot

Six months of the year, the entire forest is covered with a thick blanket of snow. Around these times few hunters venture further than the innermost marker stones. But not Nosight and his partner Snowspot, this is when they hunt far and wide. Making the winters unsafe for anything or anyone that is not in hibernation.
The Pack

The Pack is a collective name for the hunters that work in teams, never gaining an animal companion of their own but instead forming this bond of kinship with each other in their closly knit group. Hunting close to the village, they often work together with the trappers.

Ever since he was a young child, Nighteye have had a natural knack for trap making. Nearly impossible to spot, and to break free from. It is often he must free his own tribesmen from his traps, always with a grin on his face though. Over the years he became the Master Trapper, a position standing along the shaman in rank.
Trapper Apprentice Smallfurry

Most underestimate Smallfurry's ability to trap and bring home prey, but those that do are often proven very wrong. As his abilities are only second to Nightyeye. Even if he find a speciality in trapping and bringing down more predatory species, females especially.
